One game determines it. Alabama won, and they won good. I accept the defeat and hope we do better next year. We will be back next year. LSU will have a better defense and a better offense. Good job Bama. We have been embarrassed. We will not be embarrassed again.

Shutting out a perfect team in the championship game is more of a statement then loosing by 3 to them during regular season play.

If you didn't catch some of the stats last night the field goal kicker tied the record with 5 and set a record with 7 attempts. In addition they were held to under 100 yards of offense. Alabama only had 1 penalty the entire game.

Alabama also lost two key players and we barely played a third key player.

I think Alabama was pretty much perfect in that game compared to being sloppy in the first game. It was our game to loose the first go round and we did that with bad play calling, bad punting, and just general poor play. The interception on the 1 yard line didn't help either and neither did the massive punt return.

I think this game was much more fun to watch then the original slug fest and I am glad we redeemed ourselves and can put the whole "shouldn't have been there in the first place" argument to bed.

I didn't understand why they didn't even try to play Lee. I would have put him in for a play or so just to calm Jefferson down at the least. Either after the interception or the second fumble. Jefferson was clearly frustrated after both and I think just letting Lee give it a try would have been more interesting.
