Doesn't PP weighting go up to heavy? I bet that way.
It does but it can only be applied to armour, not weapons.

I'm curious on the splitters, do the bond double strikes always fire on both blades at the same time (as if combined)?
Or do they stagger the flare as well?

The flares are independent of each other.

To everyone messaging me asking my price, I don't have one yet. I haven't thought about selling them until just now.
The most I can say right now is it'll likely be sold for coins or cash, since I won't need any trades.

Considering how much you paid to weight that thing, people better give you good offers! :)
(I sold him the weighting spot at EG.)

Haha. I'm good for now, but if I take up TWC at some point, I'll think about it.

Eh if they wanted to auction it, I think it would be in that format. Toss him an offer of 60m, see what happens.

The price I mentioned wasn't the point. The point is toss the buyer a legit offer and see what they say. Its not an auction at this point.

With the new PP changes, what would it cost to enchant this thing?

that is a great item that I'd love to have... but well out of my price range... feel like giving to the needy and putting it down as a tax wright-off?

No joke, I have been wanting to come back to prime, and have considered TWC, and this is about as good as it gets without drugging and taking advantage of Drew.

Kind of, Im waiting on getting a nice weapon that I like. I was back for a week maybe when I was playing with a poison ebow, but didn't like the fact that it wasn't PB so I sold it to a friend and closed the acct again until something pops up that really gets my attention.

Not having enough points to PCacl it, I wouldn't be comfortable giving an amount . Even using the listed costs sometimes even that's inaccurate.
If anyone reputable has a large chunk of points though to test, I'd gladly do so.

Someone on Lnet asked if the split weapons could be used on two different characters and as far as I know, as long as it's not bonded to, anyone can use them.
I suppose the advantage there is you only need one spot to get merchant work on it for two characters to benefit. I'm not sure that outweighs the bonded TWC benefits though.

Yeah I hear ya, I was playing off and on until I got an email one day about some stuff that interested me, and now have been back playing since.

I'd agree to. All that person would be doing is paying for two 7x HCW weapons, but then again he'd still have that option of using them for bonding purposes if they wished.
Granted if they had no reasoning to do that, much better off just buying separate weapons for both characters at that point

Using high end splitting weapons for anything other than pally/warrior bonding is like meleeing with an ebow.

Can you give a price range on the amount of money you would prefer, this is the first splitting weapon with such nice stats to go up for grabs that I know of... so I don't have anything to base it on.

Taking a fel hafter to 7x would cost you 9960 PP (I think). At 6k a point I think that takes it up to about 60 million. Maybe multiply it by 1.5 for the splitting factor, since you're getting two 7x HCW axes. Based off of some crazy very rough estimate of something not even remotely the same, you get about 90 million ballpark.
Or you could toss him a coin offer and see what he says. Usually the best way to figure out the price on one of a kind items. It's the only one likely to be sold soon, so you don't want to miss it.
You can't weight things with PP.
Pretty sure the merchant charged him 30m or more for this service though.. and assume he paid 10-15m for the raffle slot.

Yea, I want this, but it generally cost way more to make an item compared to its market value. So unless the owner wants to meet in the middle, I'm out.
are they 3 pounds each when separate, and 3 pounds total when joined?

Quick as an arrow in flight, you snatch a rolaren boarding axe from your back-sheaths and brandish it.
>weigh axe
You carefully examine the boarding axe and determine that the weight is about 3 pounds.
Roundtime: 5 sec.
R>open my axe
Holding your axe with both hands, you press a small button near your thumb and separate the weapon into two halves.
>weigh axe
You carefully examine the boarding axe and determine that the weight is about 3 pounds.
Roundtime: 5 sec.
>weigh other axe
You carefully examine the boarding axe and determine that the weight is about 3 pounds.
Roundtime: 5 sec.

If they're like my splitting taavish, the creator of the item (thankfully) accounted for the 'off hand' weapon being a tad lighter so as not to get the super spiffy 1 sec rt built into twc with a heavier weapon/weapon same weight as primary weapon used in off hand.

I received a PM from the seller stating that he appreciated the bid, but he had more than sixty tied up in the axe and did not wish to sell at a loss.
The PM was appreciated.
Owning and enjoying a splitting weapon set myself, I thought I would chime in here. 7x, splitting, and HCW is pretty darn nice.. even tho dual wielding handaxes is a bit slower round-time wise compared to some other weapons. I'd offer that around 80m is the right range to open discussions currently for such a weapon if you have a character with the right kind of build to utilize it. I can see where it's not worth that to someone who cannot bond or use weapon specialization skills.. but to those who can and want to utilize twc? This is a very nice item.
And yes, you can divvy the split weapons amongst two chars.. but it won't achieve the value that the weapon spec/bonding combo would offer.
