Lost a Battleworn Falchion Set with an expertly carved saluting warrior bone hilt
During gaming 1-4-2011 My friend entered "put falchion in sheath" and not "put falchion in my sheath" in Town Square Central of WL and someone picked it right up. She has been using that falchion for years and would like it back if anyone know who might have it. She is offering a reward for its safe return.

I can appreciate that you're both new to the game and to these forums, but one post would really get the job done on your request. These boards don't get a ton of traffic.

Was this incident before or after special education snack time?

Kind of hope someone finds it and promptly kills your and/or her character with it.

Please pm me if you hear anything. She already went to the game master and it seems the person had cast invisible on themselves because they looked at the logs and it does not show who picked it up. She is very upset about all of this. Thanks for any help.

Sucks but some people do that setup on purpose, if anything you learn to write a sheath script out of this.

So we have a list of suspects narrowed down to a wizard or someone who has access to an invisibility imbed.

Sorry about the multi-post. She is just that upset and was trying to get the word out to everyone. Across the whole forum. She has had that falchion for years.

She has a list of suspects and one in particular that logged out a second after she dropped it and has not came back online since. She gave the Game master the list of characters that were present.

Go on and tell us then, these aren't the officials, you can name people here. Plus we like drama.

I can understand how some of you can take this lightly and make fun. But, the falchion has been in my family for years, and as a warrior....it is my life line. I am saddened by the morals of some folks. In all my 46 trainings, I had hoped I would never have to bear witness to the vile greed of others. So...to whomever ever has my falchion, I do hope you enjoy it. I shall be looking for it relentlessly though, I might add. To those to stand beside me in what is right, I proudly salute you. To those who don't, I proudly salute you too....just with my middle finger, and ye can kiss me warrior arse!

I think it is awful if someone purposefully stole it, and I myself know the depressing feeling of having lost a beloved item.
HOWEVER, and I said it in another thread... that thing is UGLY. If the description actually is "a battleworn falchion set with an expertly carved saluting warrior bone hilt" then that is one of the most awkward and ugly things I've ever heard of. If you get it back, please have it altered. If the person who stole/found it reads this, please have it altered.
Thank you.
Also, if you like, I can sell you "a combat studded battle dagger engraved with an accidentally carved relaxing warrior felt green hilt".

One of the meaner/or most idiotic things you can do in GS: leave open containers on/under benches in town center. You're not doing anyone any favors. No one wants that lime green sheath that the pawnshop won't buy from you, so throw it in the trash.
Sure it's always at least partly the fault of those who forget to use "my" but stupidity does not make theft right.

I wanna make another joke about the expertly carved saluting warrior's boner hilt....

I get the whole you've had it forever but if the item isn't weighted/enhansive/super enchanted it should be pretty easy to replace at a merchant or using PP points. I'll even do it next time I run into a merchant if it's just a 4x weapon.
Does it suck? Hell yeah it does. Will she ever forget to put "my" before everything? Let's hope not so there isn't more spamming in every folder.

LOL there's only one suspect....your "friend". Failure by that person to not properly stow "her" shit isn't a fault of anyone else but "her".

That method is actually the norm on the officials, as people tend to read by folder there, and not by unviewed posts. Even still, posting in off-topic threads wouldn't be a good idea there. I would suggest putting your contact information in your signature, including e-mail, IMs, etc so that you're easy to reach. If you have a log, I would also suggest posting that in the original thread as well.
Best of luck to you in your search.
