Could we have both dealt with it better? Sure. I think it's a clear case of miscommunication on both sides, and I'd like to rectify it. I'd hate to ruin my rep as a merchant because of a silly thing like this.

Looks like Ross made a typo. Who would offer to pay 250k for something he could get for 20k? It sucks that he made the typo and got her hopes up, but mistakes happen and if it were me I wouldn't pay 5m for 20 of whatever those are, assuming the going rate really is 20k.

Sounds like WROSS is just bad at math... But the way I read it is that he wanted 20 at 20k each. People don't just offer to pay 1000% more than the asking price without there being some error. I think that should have sent big red flags when the deal was made.

I would say if you want your 5m make the other 180 of them. Otherwise hold out for more from someone else. I got my sanct breaking stones for free when I wanted a dozen of them. So I would be thankful you got 20k and move on.

I have no problem going down on the price, I really didn't think he was going to pay that much anyway. The point that I tried to contact him over and over and he couldn't give a "hello I'm busy, can I get back to you after the holidays?" is what I find extremely disrespectful. So if posting about it is what it takes to get the matter settled, work is done.

If you still want them for 500k, they're yours.
