[Pegleg Table - 18593]
One of the four table legs has been utterly destroyed in some past bar fight. As a replacement for the missing leg, three mismatched pieces of linden wood have been attached to the table with rusted nails. The makeshift table leg is shorter than the original three and is resting on a square piece of maoral wood, making the table tilt alarmingly. As a centerpiece, a single wilted daisy droops over one side of a broken mug, which now serves as a vase and has water seeping slowly from its jagged crack. You also see the Eoghain disk, the Azimar disk and the Aurawyn disk.

Speaking quietly to you, Mystiq says, "Am still for no one."

Kronius slowly empties his lungs.
Azimar folds his arms serenely in front of him, the roomy sleeves of his robes concealing his hands completely.
Eoghain shifts his eyes to you.
Eoghain shakes his head.
Rohese nods in agreement at Telare.
Telare folds his arms behind his head.
Ketsimney whispers something to Queleri.
Speaking in Elven, Queleri explains, "As most are likely aware, in the recent weeks whispers have spread across the Shining City against the current Argent Mirror, and her stance towards our people."
Lacing his fingers together, Eoghain's body stiffens as he quietly listens to Queleri.
Kronius nods slowly.
Queleri whispers something to Ketsimney.
Rohese blushes a light pink shade at Telare.
Rohese just nudged Telare.
Telare smiles at Rohese.
Telare turns an inquisitive ear towards Queleri.
Speaking in Elven, Queleri says, "These rumors, which is all they seem to be at present come at a very crucial time..."
Speaking in Elven, Queleri continues, "The current Argent Mirror has taken more risk for the sake of our blood then we have seen in millennia. The Elven Nations as a whole will have decisions to make based on the events that take place here. We have seen King Tyrnian take a stance of isolation for the sake of security in Ta'Vaalor, requiring us to purchase papers in order to do business there."
Kronius mutters under his breath.
Eoghain mutters vaalor.
Speaking in Elven, Queleri says, "The Argent Mirror on the other hand seems to be moving to a more lenient stance., and the other Houses will look to either the Vaalorians or the Illistimi as an example, we must do what we can to be sure that it is the Illistimi whose example they follow."
Rohese nods slowly.
Eoghain adopts an agreeable expression.
Speaking in Elven, Queleri adds, "We must place an increasingly important emphasis on diplomacy. While these whispers seem slightly unorganized at the moment, I would not expect it to remain so for long, given the unrest we've seen in the Landing I would not be surprised to see these whispers become louder and more organized."
Speaking in Elven, Queleri continues, "Nershuul has returned, and many of the enemies he works with seem to use the art of our people."
Kronius shifts his weight.

Rohese's face turns slightly pale.
Speaking in Elven, Queleri explains, "This will require the education of some in the ways of dealing with demons, and many of the practices that have served the Palestra so well in protecting our own. Knowledge of the valances will be required as well, while the translation of portions of the Enchiridion Valentia is a start, I believe that this can be expounded upon to better prepare all of us. Our own experiences among the valances and in contact with the demons within will be invaluable I am sure, but not if this knowledge is kept to ourselves and in the darkness. Knowledge and truth are both a power, and a light, and we must use both with precision now or we will find our blood in the darkness again, and the Houses will remain divided and we shall all be vulnerable for this weakness. It was only united that we were able to drive back Despana, and if such an enemy arose now we would be divided, and I am not sure we could stand against such a darkness now we must unite before such a time finds us."
Telare nods in agreement at Queleri.
Speaking in Elven, Queleri continues, "What I mean by that is there are those of our blood that continue to live in the past and would take what they feel our people desire by force. There are others that would offer fealty and surrender our history to find acceptance in the present, I am of neither mind. It is time however for all of us to stop living in the past, and begin to look to the future again, a future which should have the 'Dark Elves' once again united with the other Elven Houses through diplomacy."
Speaking softly in Elven to Queleri, Rohese agrees, "Hear hear."
Eoghain adopts an agreeable expression.
Kronius rubs his chin thoughtfully.
Speaking in Elven, Queleri says, "Our blood has been divided outside of our home, and the Enclave has done work to help those around the Landing come to better understand our ways. Hopefully now that can extend here in helping to unite our blood for its' own good."
Eoghain smirks as a haughty expression flits across his face.
Kronius adopts an agreeable expression.
Mystiq rocks back on her heels.
Eoghain seems to be waiting for something.
Speaking curiously in Elven to Eoghain, Queleri asks, "Are the First Born agreed that it is in our mutual interest to see the Argent Mirror protected?"
Mystiq glances at Eoghain.
Eoghain glances at Telare.
Eoghain raises an eyebrow.
Rohese cocks her head at Eoghain.
Telare looks thoughtfully at Eoghain.
Telare whispers something to Eoghain.
Rohese touches Eoghain.
Speaking reassuringly in Elven to Eoghain, Rohese says, "You know it makes sense."
Eoghain slowly says, "Eii, I would say that she remains our closest thing to an ally, presently."
Rohese lets out a sigh of relief.
Rohese nods approvingly at Eoghain.
Telare nods slowly at Eoghain.
Eoghain wryly says, "Een if only to keep the Lady Rohese happy."
Rohese laughs softly, trying to hide her amusement.
Eoghain grins mischievously.
Telare flashes a wide grin.
Queleri chuckles.
Queleri agrees with Eoghain.
Speaking softly in Elven to Eoghain, Rohese says, "I can accept that."
You smirk.
Speaking in Elven, Kronius interjects, "Let it be known that the Faendryl Enclave will have an increased presence in Illistim in the coming weeks. I know seveal of our Officers, including myself, have vowed to make sure our kind are safe..."
Eoghain clearly says, "I cannot say, however, that I think our knowledge of sorcery is going to be....sought out by the Illistimi."
Speaking curiously in Elven to Eoghain, Queleri asks, "By the full of the Illistimi one can never be sure, always however there are some. Best that they be educated so history does not repeat itself, was it not an Illistimi sorcerer that brought about a plague of demons in years past?"
Speaking in Elven, Queleri muses, "I seem to recall Morah informing me, she even had a speciman in captivity as I remember it..."
Queleri shrugs.
Rohese raises an eyebrow in Queleri's direction.
Speaking in Elven to Rohese, Queleri says, "I would elaborate, but I have heard it told but once and it is not fresh to my memory."
Rohese nods at Queleri.
Rohese lets out a long, contemplative breath.
Speaking concernedly in Elven to Queleri, Rohese suggests, "I think openness and honesty is the way to proceed, perhaps then acceptance will follow in all matters."
Mystiq glances at Queleri.
Speaking in Elven, you reasonably say, "The Illistimi, in either way of knowledge or choosing to practice, would gain in the favor of the knowing sorcery properly."
Rohese nods in agreement to you.
Speaking in Elven, Rohese diplomatically counters, "But you must understand why the populace in general would be hesitant and afeared."
You nod slowly.
Ketsimney rubs her chin thoughtfully.
Speaking in Elven, Queleri says, "I would also suspect that word of these rumors would reach the Summoners or Nershuul and they would use it to their own gains, and in so doing bring the Vathor, and Abyran'ra that have plagued the other side of the Spine."
Speaking in Elven, you quietly agree, "Indeed. Another matter to discuss with the Argent Mirror."
Rohese nods to you.
Rohese smiles.
Speaking diplomatically to Rohese, Eoghain urges, "Perhaps dhu could sway them then."
Speaking in Elven, Rohese softly says, "That is my biggest fear."
Speaking softly in Elven to Eoghain, Rohese says, "I would gladly do all in my power to assuage any fears, if I can."
Eoghain nods at Rohese.
Speaking frankly to Queleri, Eoghain says, "I am more concerned with the Illistimi population than I am with the summoners."
Mystiq glances around the room.
Rohese whispers something to Queleri.
Speaking curiously in Elven to Eoghain, Queleri asks, "The llistimi summoners, or the group that seems to work against the Landing and may be cause for concern of the Illistimi population?"
Eoghain asks, "Are they separate cells then?"
Eoghain raises an eyebrow in Queleri's direction.
Rohese nods slowly to you.
Queleri nods at Eoghain.
Speaking cautiously in Elven to Queleri, Rohese asks, "Can we be sure word won't reach the summoners of this very meeting?"
Rohese cocks her head at Queleri.
Eoghain says, "I do not fear the Grishom Stone will decide this to be an opportune time to invade the Elven Nations."
Telare folds his hands in his lap.
Speaking in Elven to Rohese, Queleri says, "I am sure that it will."
Speaking softly in Elven to Eoghain, Rohese opines, "He may not but can we be sure he's even in control anymore."
Rohese raises an eyebrow in Eoghain's direction.
Eoghain frustratedly says, "A pity we haven't roused the interest of the guild here."
Eoghain shifts his eyes to Rohese.
Speaking to Rohese, Eoghain says, "IN control or not, he's certainly got his hands full with the Landing."
Ketsimney agrees with Eoghain.
Speaking softly in Elven to Eoghain, Rohese says, "Let's hope that is the case."
Queleri agrees with Rohese.
Speaking pleasedly to Rohese, Eoghain observes, "He's about to have them completely full by tomorrow evening."
Eoghain grins mischievously.
Speaking hastily in Elven to Eoghain, Rohese adds, "Not that I wish our brothers and sisters out west and further distress."
Rohese bites her lip.
Eoghain concedes, "Of course not."
Speaking softly in Elven to Eoghain, Rohese says, "We may have to talk later."
Speaking apologetically in Elven to Queleri, Rohese says, "Sorry, please continue."
Eoghain agrees, "Certainly."
Rohese folds her hands in her lap.
Speaking in Elven, Kronius says, "Grishom Stone will be of no concern this side of the DragonSpine... unless those to the West fail in their mission..."
Speaking in Elven, Kronius says, "Which is entirely plausible."
Kronius appears to be trying hard not to grin.
Rohese furrows her brow.
Ketsimney grins at Kronius.
Ketsimney shrugs.
Speaking in Elven, you politely inquire, "May I ask then, if we are under a diplomatic palaver, what would we then do to ensure the safety of the Argent Mirror during her public announcements?"
Queleri smiles at you.
Kronius whispers something to Queleri.
Speaking softly in Elven to you, Rohese says, "I put my faith in the Sapphire Guard."
Isola raises an eyebrow.
Speaking in Elven, you thoughtfully say, "Hmm."
Eoghain slowly inquires, "Do we even know when she will return to public audience?"
Speaking softly in Elven to Queleri, Rohese says, "Although I do recall that the Dreadnaughts made a pledge to protect her and the Court."
Speaking in Elven, Queleri says, "I know that the Enclave has offered it's support, and mine is assured hopefully. I would wish to see some member of us at each of her apperances."
Speaking in Elven to Rohese, Queleri says, "I am certain that the Dreadnaughts will be present."
Rohese nods at Queleri.
Eoghain calmly says, "I can likely be present as well."
Telare examines his fingernails.
Rohese smiles.
Speaking in Elven to Queleri, Kronius says, "I will be there, for certain."
Speaking in Elven, Queleri says, "I would try to make myself available as well."
Speaking gruffly to Telare, Eoghain confides, "It is times like this when I wish the Warlord would return from Sharath."
Speaking in Elven, Telare says, "It seems important enough to warrant an appearance by myself, if I can."
You nod in agreement at Eoghain.
Speaking in Elven, Ketsimney says, "I feel the most important step would be gathering leaders of many of these groups to discuss a joint venture in the goal of a common interest."
Ketsimney shrugs.
Eoghain wryly says, "The Ta'stry'noi flatters us with his inclusion."
Speaking softly in Elven to Queleri, Rohese says, "And for what it's worth, I can offer all the help of her loyal court retainers."
Eoghain bats his eyelashes.
Telare grins at Eoghain.
Rohese giggles at Eoghain.
Speaking in Elven, Telare says, "I don't like to commit myself to much of anything."
Telare tilts his head up.
You smirk at Telare.
Eoghain says, "I've noticed."
Speaking in Elven, Telare gravely says, "But this seems to be a necessity."
Rohese turns away, clearing her throat.
Eoghain nods at Azimar.
Rohese smiles quietly to herself.
Queleri smiles.
Speaking in Elven to Eoghain, Queleri asks, "Perhaps another meeting in the coming days and we can arrange more specifics as the Argent makes them known to us?"
Speaking playfully in Elven to Telare, Rohese says, "Plus you're curious and wouldn't want to miss a fight."
Rohese just nudged Telare.
Telare grins slowly.
Eoghain informally says, "It seems a good idea."
Rohese nods in agreement at Eoghain.
Speaking teasingly in Elven to Rohese, Telare says, "As long as you'll be there. I'll need something to look at."
Rohese laughs softly, trying to hide her amusement.
You breathe as quietly as you can.
Speaking softly in Elven to Telare, Rohese chides, "Behave yourself and focus on the matter in hand."
Speaking formally to Queleri, Eoghain suggests, "Please do not hesitate to make contact with us through myself or through our representative here."
Telare grins impishly.
Eoghain nods to you.
Queleri nods at Eoghain.
You incline your head.
Kronius laces his fingers together and places them behind his head, raising one eyebrow in slight annoyance.
Ketsimney whispers something to Queleri.
Speaking amusedly to Telare, Eoghain muses, "Distracted from Sylvan-hunting, lately?"
Queleri whispers something to Ketsimney.
Eoghain grins mischievously.
Telare begins chuckling at Eoghain!
Speaking in Elven to Eoghain, Telare says, "I've already been scolded once. Don't get me in trouble."
Speaking sincerely in Elven to Rohese, Queleri says, "Thank you, for everything. This will be necessary sooner then later I am afraid."
Rohese smiles at Queleri.
Rohese gently rests her hand on Queleri's shoulder.
Kronius agrees with Queleri.
Speaking wryly to Telare, Eoghain says, "I doubt dhu have need of mher aid in that regard."
Eoghain winks at Telare.
Speaking softly in Elven to Queleri, Rohese says, "Always my pleasure."
Telare grins wryly.
Speaking tearfully in Elven to Telare, Rohese asks, "When are ever NOT in trouble?"
Kronius whispers something to Queleri.
Kronius inclines his head.
Telare gawks at Rohese.
Speaking in Elven, Telare says, "I behave myself. Most of the time."
Rohese smirks at Telare.
Speaking to Rohese, Eoghain says, "The Magi exist outside of the law. They have that going for them."
Rohese gazes in amusement at Eoghain.
Telare adopts an agreeable expression.
You slowly and deliberately empty your filled lungs.
Speaking to Rohese, Eoghain says, "Thankfully they're a rare breed."
Rohese smiles quietly to herself.
Telare preens.
Eoghain smiles broadly.
Speaking in Elven, you offhandedly ask, "Are there any other matters to be discussed besides those that belong to Telare's bedding?"
Eoghain starts chortling at you!
Telare starts chuckling at you!
Speaking indignantly in Elven to Telare, Rohese exclaims, "See, now you're getting me into trouble!"
Eoghain proudly says, "Ah our Esleash Eldha'a, always to the point."
(Aurawyn raises her chin slightly and sniffs in disdain.)
Speaking in Elven to Rohese, Telare says, "I knew I should've just stayed silent."
Rohese nods curtly at Telare.
Speaking in Elven to Eoghain, Queleri says, "I believe the productivity of this gathering wanes, I will be in touch shortly I am sure."
Eoghain nods at Queleri.
Eoghain says, "Sha'haisa for having us here."
Queleri inclines his head.
Eoghain nods at Azimar.
Speaking in Elven, you quietly say, "A pity one of the Vaalorian Legion could nye make it here."
Eoghain says, "Walk with Power, all."
(Everyone says their goodbyes and eventually leave.)
