I cannot stand summer. I hate heat. I hate any temperature above 20 degree C (around what, 70 in F?)
Booh summer..
I REALLY HATE high humidity too.

Summer = :thumbsdown:
A nice 80 degree day (I'll go as high as 85 if there's a nice breeze to go with it) and no humidity is very nice...however those are far and few between...the humidity is stifling and the air is thick and gross. No sir, I'll take spring, fall and hell even a brutal winter over the summer ANYDAY. Summer sucks.

Summer is a time of grilling. That's explanation enough.

I love summer..
cut offs and tank tops,
flip flops
watermelon,
hot sand and cool gulf waters,
smell of suntan lotion,
burgers and hot dogs on the grill,
beautiful blue skys
afternoon thunderstorms
smell of fresh cut grass
the feel of a cold pool water on hot skin
walking into the a/c and a darkened house after the bright hot sun

 summer. No school.
I love summer...
Less clothes to worry about wearing
No snow <--- hate snow.
Hot sex and cool showers
cookouts
pool parties
No bulky ass coats
A/C whenever it gets too hot
I also love being able to go outside at any hour and not feeze my ass off...
Sunny days and blue skies
Chicago winters will make you love summer regardless of the heat.

come to memphis, and learn to hate the summer, 93 degrees, felt like 100, with 80 percent humidity, and its still early June, and I work outside. God I hope for an early winter this year.

67 degrees outside...but that doesn't matter, because I'm in here. Yay summer that's pretty mild until June.

<come to memphis>
Why the hell would anyone do that? Boo to the South.
We've had a really mild June so far.. lots of rain, and the average temp has been around 70. I think July/August will be the months to unleash the heat and humidity.

Boo to the South.
It's not all bad. Just the Deep South.

I was born in Memphis. The humidity is pretty bad, but I also lived in Houston and the humidity there made Memphis look dry.
Y'all quit putting down the South! Aside from the rednecks, it's a pretty good place.
Ahh... another hot steamy day. (ugh)

83 in Jacksonville, FL. I'm bout 10 minutes from the ocean, the seabreeze is kicking up as we speak. If only I had a motorcycle or a convertible....
Life is good.

I love the summer! On hot, humid days I just stay inside for the most part. Yet, I still get to enjoy the flowers, birds, butterflies and other wildlife.

I do have one thing to thank the South for: Girls Gone Wild. Southern chicks like to show their tits. Oh, and barbecue. Thank you for BBQ Ribs. Last but not least, Krispy Kreme. Other than that, you suck.

I think Krispy Kreme more than makes up for our short comings.

 to summer.
The hot days have been stupid hot and it's not even July. I'm not looking forward to the hotter months at all. I hate the heat. The slightest sign of perspiration makes me livid and completely uncomfortable. I prefer spring and autumn. This hotness factor really sucks.
My mother wanted me to go down to Miami for the 4th of July. Psycho woman. Wait til Christmas, damnit! That way I can enjoy a normal 60+ degree weather while my family brrs and shivers with coats on with me in short sleeve shirts. Floridians are funny.

I've lived in Vermont and Florida both. And I concur with CT, Floridians are crazy.

I hate the heat.
Air conditioning can solve your problems. Or fans.

Stop polluting the earth and causing global warming. You're killing us all.

A/C is also a tremendous electricity sucker. I'd rather open up the windows and let fresh air in.
I'd MUCH prefer to be cold and bundle up than to have to rely on A/C and fans to get cool. Blech.

Yeah but it's nice to be able to step out of the house into the sunshine without feeling the sun make your skin disintegrate...or the humidity making you feel like you're submerged in quicksand, which is what it feels like the moment you leave your air conditioned oasis.

I'm happy I live in the nice temperate part of the South.

I love high heat and high humidity stuff. Mmmm. I love winter more, and it's the middling stuff that bothers me.
There are few things I hate more than the way people (my family) AC's their house to around 50º when it's 90º outside. Nothing like coming in from a run/game/catch/stand-around and having your lungs implode.
