What is the normal population of people on Teras these days?

Not Many

is that like 15 with 2-3 at the statue (is that even the node people congregate at?) at any given time, or like 5 and there is no gathering place?

I would say there are at least 30 that are pretty regular at any given time.

Thanks.

I might give it a shot and see how lonely it is.

Ha!

I am not certain I'll do it, and not certain I'll stay. I just like that Teras has a lot of 30-60 stuff. Seems like more variety than the Landing or IMT.

Teras right now is about the same as it ever was, pretty quiet (like you said, 2-3 at the statue) until 9pm-ish CST, where it picks up and more than doubles that, but then it quiets down after 11 or 12...

It gets busier earlier and stays that way later on the weekends.

I am sure that the population is down some with the new capped area in landing. Even though its temporary, its a nice change.

I'm on Teras most of the time, and go between my house and the statue when not hunting. Mostly my house.

There are a couple of sizeable MA teams that seem to be in the area regularly.

I would guess that at peak times there are around 30 people (characters, anyway) either hunting or resting from hunting.

Fleurs has the tower. Mumblz I think chills under the bridge. Some groups go to the Adventurer's Rest, and I assume quite a few people go to their respective house annexes.

Constal and I left, so that about halves the population right there...

I think Sam nailed it, most of us hang out in non-public areas. If you are looking for social nirvana not sure this is it. Though we're all responsive if you wanna come hang out at our respective areas.

I'd say 15-20 capped players, quite a few more chars. I don't know the lower level grounds, but only a handful of players I think.

A few of us migrate between the scatter and teras to mix it up as well.

Let people know you are there on the amunet and you'll definitely get rescues if needed etc. Or if you need an empath we have several 'house' ones that don't really heal publicly.

Are bounties in Nelemar easier than bounties in OTF? In OTF, the only bounties I get that I can't do are constructs (I'm a pure), but in Nelemar, it seems they give child tasks and greater water elemental tasks and whatever those things that implode people are. I kind of feel like for pure ease of getting saturated, OTF is easier and quicker. Thoughts?

OTF is leaps and bounds slower and more difficult to stay saturated. Especially for a sorcerer, who can hunt all the things with ease.

No escorts is huge and the kid tasks in Nelemar are really not bad, the area isn't that big and not that far from town. Average age of the critters is higher too, so you don't have to cull as many on average. Combine that with the super easy bandits/gems/hides. You can stay saturated for hours without ever entering the place.

We're usually in the annexes, but we're always glad to go for rescues and spell people up. I come to the statue every once in a while and do spells too. Seems like a lot of clerics are there though, I keep getting beat to rescues, so I usually locate a few times over a few minutes, and if no one shows, then I go.

Was going to respond to the initial question, read this and thought "I can't do any better.."

What Whiteflash said. I don't do any migrating to scatter though although I have been to the isle off Wehnimers to 'mix it up' as it were, on my way to getting deed top up. I know i'm going to sound pretty biaised, being a citizen of Kharam Dzu and a dwarf to boot, but - lack of story lines withstanding - Teras is bloody fantastic!

Anyone run the lower level areas lately? Might stroll through for a few levels around 50.

I know there are a few on the Isle that run the lower areas, but overall it should be pretty good hunting for you at that train, and I'm sure Sand Devils are loaded again.
