Generally, look for an extra rubyw.exe process in task manager and kill it.

What Jymamon said worked for me... I've noticed that pretty often I have rogue rubyw processes running from time to time. If you need help figuring out which is which (assuming your still logged in game) it's the one with the much less memory being used (This is assuming your using windows)

Yeah I run two wizard clients and only have 2 rubyw processes running. I assume this is normal. I killed the lower memory one just to try and it closed one of my Wizards, so I assume that isn't the problem.

Killing the rogue processes was a permanent fix for me. They're easy to spot if you do it before logging in. I had something like 5 extra processes going.

Yeah it's not rogue processes then, I don't have any running when I close both windows.
