I suppose this would be an appreciation post but I have to say I'm really happ with Toshiba's tech support when it came to my laptop. A few months ago I broke my laptop by dropping it and I cracked the inside of the LCD screen so all I could see were fractels unless I plugged in a monitor. But at the time I was really busy with finals and school so I didn't get around to contacting them until recently. But basically heres how it went down I called them up told them my problem and asked for solutions they told me since I'm under warranty that I can A.) take it to a drop off support center or B.) they'd overnight me a box, prepay my shipping to send it back and then send it back to me within a week. But the catch was since it was my fault, although I never admitted to dropping it, they informed me that if what happened isn't covered by warranty they'd let me know if I would owe them money before they preformed the work. I opted for B.) because all support centers are closed on weekends and I work all week. The next day I had a box. I sent it back. And 2 days later I had a box back with a fully fixed laptop free of charge.

Anyway I guess what I'm saying is I was really impressed with A.) the friendly attitude and general niceness of the tech support crew on the phones, even though they were in Canada those bastards. B.) The fact that they fixed my laptop for free C.) The speed of everything from start to finish. A 4 day turn around from phone to delivery.
