I love Dali. Looking at his work is like looking at some crazy dreams. Great stuff.

Van Gogh. I'm a big fan of impressionists.
Big Dali fan here. Whats cool about his work is the realism of the figures in a dream like world. He had a really strange upbringing also.
Reading a book on Klimt right now. Certainly, I'm a an even bigger fan of the female form. His portraits have studied realism, but again, on a more ornate backdrop. This book says he paints the figures first, nude, then fills out the rest. They have a picture of one of unfinished works that corraborates it.
Having looked through all the Surrealist and Dada art for quite a while, I'm starting to turn towards enjoying classical and baroque renaissance.

Yes, Dali is excellent and certainly a favorite. Heironymus Bosch (http://www.ibiblio.org/wm/paint/auth/bosch/) is also quite good and, if you like somewhat stranger more macabre work, H.R. Giger (http://www.hrgiger.com/frame.htm).

I remember, I once saw Guernica in Spain. I've thought Picasso is the best since then.

Rodin is actually at Buffalo's Albright Knox Museum. They shipped in the Thinker as well. It's pretty damn amazing.
