Yea.. because sniping from hiding and getting the ability to increase your shot by +50 is a real bad thing. :rolleyes:

If Falgrin didn't have a 10x altered axe.. he'd be an archer. Gambits + 3x hiding + 2x ambush + 2x perception +shadow mastery + dwarf = Alotta sticks to the target's left eye.

It's an on-going joke between myself and Andrew, PB. He knows I actually admire the skill and ability his Ranger has, I just decided another path for mine. We always try to outdo each other, like a friendly competition. I'm sure he would raise his eyebrows if I sold a 10x bow and rib me for ever having possession of one.

Elrodin has been an archer for the last 3 years, I wont change him now. Stun is right though, its sort of a friendly competition. We both have very strong rangers and admire what the other can do, but we stick to our own paths. I cant tell you the number of times when I have just wanted to just sell all the bows and quivers I have and pick up a sword and shield and follow Stun's route. Generally its after I die because of something archery related(no bolt DS or running out of arrows in the middle of a hunt). I own one crossbow right now and thats only because a very good friend of mine who left the lands told me to take it and sell it or whatever I wanted to do with it. I cant bring myself to get rid of it because im still trying to get them to come back.

BTW, Stun, I will catch you soon enough, just give it time.

I just picked up mstrike and deep blues. Both are major advantages on my side. Since I'm done at Augmented Chain, I have some points coming back to me, we'll see how it goes < hint hint 2x PF >.

I get deep blues next train. I am pretty well set for my DS though. If they nerf voln fu as I expect them to in the upcoming changes then I plan on dropping my brawling and picking up more PT <hint hint 2x PF>. I also want to find out how heavier armor and hiding works with archery. It might be worth it for me to pick up enough to wear hauberk, or somewhere between brig and hauberk.

You'll stay in Augmented Chain < 70 ranks >, definately not Hauberk < 110 ranks > for Rangers. Double chain is nice as well for the Rangerly-type. I'm expecting to not be able to hide once the changes. I'm thinking I'll take my chances on the 3 seconds to Camo at 9% hinderance.
