a long silvery faewood runestaff capped with a diamond orb
4lbs, 4x, zested:
lean runestaff
You plant the tip of your runestaff on the ground firmly and lean on it, taking advantage of the support it offers.
turn runestaff
With a deft twist of one wrist, you send your runestaff into a whistling spin that is arrested with a sharp slap as you catch its quivering length across your other palm.
press/push runestaff(while standing)
You spin rapidly in a full circle, sweeping your runestaff in a wide arc around you.
push runestaff(while prone) *flat 5 rt no matter your encumberance)*
Leaning heavily on your runestaff, you clamber to your feet.
Roundtime: 5 sec.
MB: 500k. CB: 1m to Methais and sold.

That was well before the major runestaff changes (which caused a huge shift to flaring instead of just scripted) and prior to the premium summer feat (which put on the market a shit ton of auto-standing canes and staffs). Still great to not need to stow the runestaff, but not near what it was worth when there were only a few with the ability.

Maybe I missed something, but what's the not needing to stow it part about?

It being on a runestaff and not a fluff-type staff or cane gives you the mechanical advantage of it being a runestaff, should you ever find yourself unable to stand in front of a critter and don't want to simply ring/fog/society port out. Obviously, not a common occurrence, but it is convenient. Also, you save the weight and extra space taken up having two.

That one may have been fully unlocked too, looks like this one is only once unlocked.

I haven't paid much attention to most things in GS for the past bunch of years...what exactly does this mean?

means if you buy it and Felthrop shows up you can probably get more zests unlocked on it.

fully unlocked can also do:
>rub staff
You spit in your hand and buff your staff clean.
>tap staff
You sharply rap the butt of your staff against the ground.
>turn staff
With a deft twist of one wrist, you send your staff into a whistling spin that is arrested with a sharp slap as you catch its quivering length across your other palm.
>hug staff
You draw your staff close and lean your forehead against it.
>kick staff
You catch your ankle against your staff with a sharp rap. Wincing in pain, you inadvertently get it caught between your feet and go sprawling to the ground in an unceremonious heap.
Those are the ones ;zesttest catches, anyway. The one that stands you obviously being the best feature, though, IMO.

Not trying to kill this thread or anything. May actually help out whoever buys it. But I thought flares could go on scripted runestaves anyhow.
If you found someone who adds flares to it you could get flares, and you'd have the awesome stand script on it.

I know for a fact that scripted runestaves CAN have flares.. I have, for my sorcerer, a scripted acuity flaring runestaff.

Is 100% correct, as I had two seperate scripted runestaves flared since the release.
