This character was created in 1995. Has has (obviously) never had a fixstat. I inherited him when his player left the lands at least 7 years ago. The characters is level 100 as you can see listed in his stats. If you want to make a bid on him cool. I don't ever recall using his fixskill but it is not available.

I know the best thing is just to not respond to all the negative comments but for once instead of walking away or keeping silent as I have in the past.

Why would I lie?
What reward would their be in that for me? Why say he is 100 if he is 94 or 95?

I have 1000s of items I wish to auction and put back into the lands. Why do anything that would cause my reputation harm?

I sold 5 characters this weekend and all are exactly as I posted.

This character is level 100. That is an exact post of his stats. The character is sold. The person that bought him (and his gear which is worth far more than the price paid), did an ;info on him and saw that he is exactly as I posted.

If you don't like his stats or training, no one said you had to. If there is an error with his stats due to some glitch I'm sure Simu will correct it.

He has been capped since the day GS4 opened. He was near the soft cap in GS3. I have played with this character since the day he was rolled in Sept of 1995 until he left. I've kept him all this time for sentimental reasons.

If someone can get some use out of him or only wanted his gear.. that's their business.

Why am I selling .. (Ive been asked in numerous personal IMS.) I don't share every detail of my life as some are prone to do. But since I suddenly seem to be the target of your interest. Here you are: I had a virus that has damaged my heart. My best option right now is a transplant. That may never be obtainable. Who knows what the future may bring. I may outlive you all. I may not make it through the month. None of us are immortal. But for me.. suddenly facing these issues has made me want to put things in order.

My main characters and their items will go away when I do, until then I hope to have a few more good times in a game I have mostly loved and sometimes hated for 16 years.

I can say with a clear conscience that I have treated every person in Gemstone with courtesy and respect. I've given way more than Ive kept. I would never cheat someone, especially over a few measly dollars. (or levels)

My motivation in selling was to clean out characters I never or rarely used, and more importantly get the nice gear I have sitting on unused characters or in lockers back into the lands. The thoughts of it all sitting in abandoned accounts if it comes to that, made me kind of sad.

If there are folks that can use it or want it..fantastic. If not .. that's cool to.

This type of issue tends to be REALLY easy to verify if someone is telling the truth.

Just meet the person in game, make them toggle their level in the profile and change their profile quote. I would recommend this on the purchase of ANY character. People with an item are typically less likely to to make fake posts.

The finger pointing and name calling just doesn't seem necessary unless Lemonkyst refuses to do this simple verification.

More than likely. EXP earned did not change between GS3 and GS4, just the EXP requirements for each level.

I appreciate your offer Chris. I have numerous respected characters in game. I don't need anyone to handle things for me. The characters are sold. The items will be put up for sale. I am hopeful that the folks I sold the characters to will vouch for me and this can all be laid to rest.

As for the items, Im fine with meeting folks in game and doing exchanges for silvers. I have so many things I have thought it may be best just to do an in-game auction with a bard to verify. If folks want to bid they can. If they want to believe all this trolling crap.. so be it. I respect you. I know you. I just DON'T like being pressured to sell everything I have to one person. WHAT?? I didn't refuse to post anything. Ive responded honestly and often to all accusation trying to clear this up.
The characters entire stats/skills etc. where posted from a paste directly off that character. Posting an exact copy of his skills and stats got me:

1. Rude comments about his skills and training. That doesn't hurt my feelings. I didn't roll him or train him. He was created in 95 by my best friend as a first or second character. We had no idea what was what with that profession. He followed a statistical sorcerer guide available at the time in stat placement. Skills can be fixskilled.

2. Accusations that I was lying about his level/exp.

So to answer your accusations:
1. I didn't edit my post for any reason other than I do that on all character sales. You can check. I did it on all my posts. Its just a habit of mine once the character is sold, as a courtesy to the buyer. I have nothing to hide my entire post is quoted a few down from my original and I agree that quote is 100% accurate as it is posted right now.

2. I will post the level and exp again for you in this post. Is that what your asking for?

I now have health issues that may not be able to be resolved. I was attempting to simplify my life and give back to a community I care about. I "thought" this would be a fun process. I was looking forward to selling and meeting folks and seeing their joy at what I had to offer. I was not looking for a quick way out, one buyer to take it all or to make zillions of silvers. I looked at it as another adventure in GemStone while I could still enjoy it. Why?

I was treated very generously when I arrived in the lands and I have always tried to give back to the community. To be called a scammer by you is honestly heartbreaking. You can blah blah blah me all you want. But I am laying it all out here to be 100 percent straight up with you.

The only accusations I have ever got from people bidding on my items is: I finalize deals too quickly. I put an item up. Give it a day. Take the best bid.

So back to Jonty and the bet.

I log that character in and meet the trusted player. (Chris is fine with me.) We both give him a note for 25 million. The trusted player does lich info on the character. If he is level 100 and exp 6.97 I get both notes. If he is not level 100 exp 6.97 You get the notes.

That is what you are claiming I'm lying about correct? Just so we are all clear. If not let me know what you feel my scam is and I will modify the bet to verify your claims.

As I've said numerous times. I know its a glitch. I am trying to find out whats up. It has another issue that is messed up also and a GM has already met with me on that.

I have never denied that there is a glitch. I contacted the previous owner and he has said that GM Zyllah placed him in a room after GS4 conversion and had him redo some things due to some corruption. He was almost to the soft cap when GS4 opened. He has the logs showing his exp and fame in GS3 if they are needed.

The character is sold. (unless the buyer backs out form all this drama) The person buying doesn't care. I think he just wants the items on the character anyway. I personally don't care if the character sells or not. I don't play him. I haven't played him in 7 years. If someone could get some use out of him.. fantastic. If they only want his items that's easier anyway. He can linger forever in oblivion. I really do not care.

I have not yet transferred because I want it resolved. I want to make sure that whatever resolution is decided on is still agreeable to the buyer. The buyer has already logged in and checked the characters info. He/she does want to remain silent, and I don't blame them. If they came forward and said yep she is correct.. you would just call them a liar too.

I posted a lengthy post clearly stating that I know the character does not have great skills or stats. I posted that I inherited him about 7 years ago. I posted that I know its a glitch. What do you want from me?

The reasons stated for me being "shady" have suddenly changed. In the beginning the "you're shady" accusations were based on the level posted vs the exp.

I've had a friend of mine, who I trust, tell me that it was a GS4 conversion error. Even though the character is listed in info as level 100, it would still have the TPs of a level 94 character. Really, props on her for not changing the EXP and keeping it as is.

Either way, the buyer apparently knew and understood this.

I've had a friend of mine, who I trust, tell me that it was a GS4 conversion error. Even though the character is listed in info as level 100, it would still have the TPs of a level 94 character.

Either way, the buyer apparently knew and understood this.

Sorry for asking you if you are Inspire. :(

I tried to force myself to read your extremely long post, but I just couldn't. So, I'll just respond in a general manner.

I will not take your bet, because yes, you may be telling the truth, and whether you're are or not is not worth my money.

My responses to this thread were base on what you originally posted and what you posted when people started commenting. You did not offer a reasonable explanation as to why your supposedly level 100 sorcerer had only 6.97 EXP. You just responded saying that it is level 100 and that it's sold..... Then you posted a sob story, which still lacked an explanation. It seemed like you were purposely avoiding explaining it. It took you two days of posting nonsense to come up with a decent explanation. It kind of seems like you needed time to make it up.

BUT.... if you're not lying, there there are 1.5 things that I will apologize for. If you actually did sell it, then I apologize for doubting it. And if your sob story is true, then I apologize for being insensitive about it. But then again... I don't fully feel sorry, because at the end of your story, you said you didn't really give a fuck. So... why the heck did you post all that stuff then? That's really what I was commenting on. I do not apologize for questioning the experience, as that is an obvious concern.

Anyway... if you would have just addressed the comments of the experience inconsistency right away, instead of taking offence to the skills/stats comments, all this other crap could have been avoided. But who knows, maybe you like the "drama".

The reasons stated for me being "shady" have suddenly changed. In the beginning the "you're shady" accusations were based on the level posted vs the exp.

I never gave a shit about the exp issue. The way you handled it though, made you look fairly shady.

If there's any question about an item I'm selling, I'll do whatever is required to clear up any confusion, prove whatever is being questioned, etc. That's also probably why I have a good reputation as a merchant, even though I don't really sell much anymore because I'm too lazy.

The hint of scam reeks of Inspire unfortunately, so the knives come out. Still the OP could have just taken 30 seconds and let someone PROFILE the person instead of spending over an hour reading and wall-of-text responding to every post in this thread and coming up with ridiculous "bets". Wall of texts and diversions like "bets" are exactly what Inspire and other scammers have historically done. Not logging in and spending less than a minute proving it is also what Inspire would do. So I don't blame anyone for hassling her.

I, for one, have no problem imagining Simu fucked something up in the equation.

Also, I cannot for the life of me see why not "letting someone else log into the account to verify" is considered unreasonable. Especially when she offered a viable alternative. As for the bet, I would put money on my reputation too. Just because Inspire is a raging douchebag doesn't mean everyone who is willing to put money where their mouth is, is a raging douchebag.

Checking from the old fame lists, character has to be either Rhellium or Gadshill. Not many sylvan sorcerers running around, and there were only about 40 people who converted over to 100 in GS3-IV. Problem solved.
