Does anyone use a set? If so, what brand/model do you use and what do you think of them?

I'm currently looking into getting a pair, though am torn between the Astro A40's, or waiting for the Tritton Warhead 7.1. The Trittons are due out mid December. I'm not sure if there are any audiophiles here at the PC, but if there are I would love to hear you weigh in with your opinions.

Lessening the geek factor a bit, also good for taking outside since they're attractive. Oh and they keep your ears warm pfft.

I use Logitech G35s, they have good surround sound but I'm not a real "audiophile". It gets what I need done.

I decided to go with the Astro 5.8 Amp and the Sennheiser PC360 headset. It is better cost-wise to go with the A40's + the Amp, but the PC360's are consistently better reviewed.

They are not meant for gaming, and have no microphone, but I use Bose QC15 and love them.

I bought them because they were like $5 or $10 at the time. Haven't had a problem with them after a few years. Other (better) brands don't tend to have the same durability for me.

Creative Fatal1ty.. I think I spent $50 on sale. I like them because I can pretty much block out the noise around me... my wife hates them for that very reason.

I bought Zalman 5.1 headphones years ago when I played Counterstrike a lot and still use them to this day. Great for muting the outside world and 5.1 sound is amazing.

I got a one made by SoundBlaster, I forget the model tho ... but it's probably the best I've ever used.

Turtle Beach Earforce Px21 for me.

They were a gift but they work supafine for the PC, Playstation or even the television.

They also come with the xbox controller adapter cords if you needed them.

I'm enjoying the PC 360's but they are definitely not suitable for music listening outside the house (huge unattachable mic, open design)

At some point I will be grabbing these as well as an amp, and using them for both music and games not requiring a mic.

Logitech G330. Simple, doesn't pwn your ears, and a great mic.

I tried everything from $10 to $175 headphones and the only ones I like are the Logitech G330's.

Better get something with a little more oomph than the Astro amp for those Denons.
