I haven't had it sung to yet because I found it late tonight. All I know so far is that I had to neutralize curse on it to put it in my cloak.

That's... very interesting. Hard to put a price on without more information, though. I'm interested, regardless.

Creature found or box found?

If it's creature found, well meh it's prolly just another system gen'd weapon. Box found, well it may be more than just a plain ole weapon.

As far as I know, urglaes gear doesn't gen from the regular treasure system. At the very least, I've never found any.

You'd be surprised what can gen from it. Since we've already seen Veil Iron, Golvern, Black Ora. It doesn't really surprise me if that was the case.

But of course, knowing whether or not it was, may also determine things a bit more since it would definitely be something if found in a box.

Regardless, the OP is so vague in the post so no one knows I guess

Since the treasure system revamp, I've seen numerous drops for veil iron, golvern, black ora, sephwir, wyrwood, fireleaf, lor, glowbark, etc.

That is the first time I've seen urglaes. It is not on the normal random gen list.

found a veil iron waraxe inside of a matching harnessed shield in otf once on a critter drop (maybe 8 years ago) so they are possible. this is a really neat find though - very interested to hear more

Appreciate all the information. For those curious a Muscular Supplicant was SWINGing it at me. I didn't even realize it was anything special untill I went to put my gold ring on and it was still in my off hand. Had it sung to and nothing special about it except that its +12. And its cursed of course. Have received several fair offers on it without people even knowing what it does. Thanks all.

Veil iron does drop from the treasure system, but until a reputable person finds urglaes on a creature I'll assume it's trolling.

Fairly random information to add, claidhmores genned by the new system can have all kinds of fancy metals now. Aside from Mithril, ora, and imflass, I recently found a serrated rolaren claidhmore in OTF (Shattered, dont bother PMing me to buy it) and it does have the full +20 rolaren bonus, and standard claid weighting. Never seen any Urglaes yet though, I hope I do though, nice find!
