So in addition to the other things I've forgotten, Hunting continues to give me trouble. Any tips on hunting Wyneb?

I hunt there occasionally, when I get bored of stone things falling on me in the Landing. As soon as you enter a room with either a heirophant or a dogmatist, use 703 (Forget) so they can't cast at you. I try to keep it to one NPC and me because otherwise I have trouble keeping the 703 on the correct NPC. If you have necro lore, 711 (Pain) puts them in RT, as well as reducing their health. And 719 (DC) works very well in there, so you should try to use that if you can. It will occasionally kill them outright, with some mana return, too.

Don't know what kind of armor you're wearing, but if it can take ranger resistance, you can use it to lessen the damage from spike thorn, so that's an option, too.

I'm currently 62 (CS 330) and sometimes I have to use guarded curse to get their TDs down, especially on the dogmatists.

One thing I always do in there is use the PEER verb. So I'll peer into the next room to see what's in there. If it's two supplicants, then fine because they can't hit me. If it's two or three heirophants/dogmatists, then I run through because I like to be one on one with them.

I'm sure someone else will have different and/or better advice, but that's how I hunt in there and I rarely die.

Quake before going in there and fire spirit them! Sometimes they are already laying down for you. DC works great if you got the warding for them.

Thanks - I haven't really been using those much, but do remember doing that before I left!

I tend to agree with msconstrew on tactics here. Frankly if you can ward them, DC them. For the supplicants remove a leg and then plink to conserve mana.

If you have trouble warding them I'd suggest imbedding some wands/rods from a ranger with curse to see if you could curse them with the wand, and then DC them.

DC cuts through the Temple and then the Tower in EN like a knife through butter. So I would get used to this being your primary attack spell for awhile, if it's not already. But the next 15-20 trains should be some of the best for you.

Maybe don't quake indiscriminately. You'll get your ass handed to you by other players for that.

To disable the supplicants and not worry about them attacking you limb their right arm. I would blood burst them and kill everything else before plinking them to death.

Sorc hunting Wyneb, 101.

Supplicants = 708 + 705/702

Heirophants = 703 + 719 + 705

Dogmatists = 119 + 703 + 715 + 719 + 705

Something like that.

Just know that supplicants focus mstrike, hierophants cast spike thorn and dogmatists have a high CS/TD, and are spiritual. My sorcerer did well there.
