So I will let Dhairn explain what the challenge is, but here's what happened tonight when I took it on.

Apparently the mstrike part was pretty much irrelevant since we both killed each other on the first swing.

Alright, this whole thing stemmed from my brother talking shit. Hopefully it will evolve into something great that spirals out of control and can't be stopped.

Whole basis of the challenge is for you to survive an mstrike from Dhairn self spelled, warriors and rogues can wear spells allowed in Rift. There are no rules as far as AS is concerned.

The first bet my brother made allowed the victim to be in defensive, but each challenger has done a defensive and offensive mstrike.

I will at times also allow you the luxury of hitting me if you so wish.

Deep blue motes swirl away from Dgry and fade.
The light blue glow leaves Dgry.
Cobalt light separates itself from Dgry and scatters into oblivion.
Dgry's movements no longer appear to be influenced by a divine power as the spiritual force fades from around his arms.
A crimson mist bleeds out from Dgry's exposed skin.
The wall of force disappears from around Dgry.
Dgry seems to lose some focus as his eyes narrow and shift momentarily to one side.
The powerful look leaves Dgry.
Dgry appears less battle-ready as a soft glow dissipates from around his form.
Dgry loses the flickering blue-grey energy surrounding him.

So far Roblar is in the lead as far as survivability.

Specially seeing as how he doesn't have padding on plate.

My swings included strength spell, warhorn (zealot), some bard song, & enhancives apart from normal (surge, symbol courage and war cry).

Fun stuff, ended up taking the challenge/testing a couple more times. Maybe he has the clips.

All those spell numbers give me a headache but a ruby amulet, a small statue and a couple scrolls reads should put me over 1,000. I'm sure a few hundred higher if a team of casters went to work.

As a Giant warrior At 59 I'm swinging at 442 with Strength Spell, COL Signs, 8x weapon, maxed strength, +8 OHB Orb

Another 3 AS per level till cap puts me at 565. Even Bravery (15), that one bard song that adds +26, and throw on another 25 for spells I'm sure I'm forgetting and the +20 warcry... that Brings me to 650ish.

Even If I some how ended up with +25 STR Bonus Enhancive and found another 42 OHB bonus that gets me up to almost 710ish...

How are you getting to 800's without spirit strike? What am I missing?

In addition... do you guys really have +50 bonus for weapon type and +25 on Strength? Maybe I'm just naive.

Forgot about Sign of Madness since outside of this testing it's probably never used.

I just assumed they didn't have 425/1130 since we were talking about redux, but I guess that doesn't mean someone doesn't have a god auction item that grants it.

I didn't know that all of those spells listed there where all AS... Guess I need to go do some more reading.

All that being said Surge, Madness and some of those extra spells you listed that I didn't mention gets me into the 800s.

I don't even want to think about the coin I'm going to need to max out OHB/STR Enhancives.

If you max out strength enhancives, surge will do nothing for you. The max strength number includes surge if you use it.

For Dhairn at least he's using +50 polearm enhancives, +40 strength enhancives, a handful of CM enhancive.

10x perfect lance, zealot, dauntless, patron's blessing(adds phantom CM), spirit strike, side by side (+24ish), sign of madness, strength, paladin bonded weapon, maximum weapon spec and probably heroism, bravery, and kai's on some of those.

Enhancives really make it silly when you gather large amounts of them, I'm within 5 aura and 3 CS of maximum possible sorcerer CS. 135 aura and 140 wisdom, 567 CS with a quartz orb currently (max sorcerer CS is 570 I think, that is without 240/1612/340).

Guess I really handn't thought about how much enhanceives can make a difference, CM/Weapon Ranks/Strength can add over 100 AS... pretty crazy.
