Looking to find a new home for my chaos katar. It cycles through enchant and flare/weighting on each swing. It's a great weapon for a TWC user.

Has anyone done long term testing on a chaos weapon to show average enchant, average time weighted, level of weighting, and time spent flaring?

Yea, I haven't either, but I think I saw something about the average enchant isn't actually 0 on these, its 4x.... not sure if there is any truth to the statement or what, but that is good to know.

Pretty sure someone did and it averaged out to +20 or so, but I'm too lazy to search.

Khariz did extensive testing with his chaos maul also. Search for it on here. He said it averaged 4x, and flared more frequently then a standard weapon.

His research also proved that the white shaalk claid had extra weighting...just saying.

However, he did say his testing was done before the change in assessing rules and this weapon, along with the executioner's sword that I bought from Drew, they were commonly thought by the entire population to be weighted higher than a normal claid and some people think that there were weighting roll over issues.

I have no idea either way, but it wouldn't surprise me either way for them to auction off an item, and with the vagueness of merchants people could assume, or if the changes caused an accidental (or intentional) nerf.

There are 5 logs of the chaos maul in use in that link I posted though. Feel free to go through and do the math on your own. As I don't like randomness, I'll take his word for it...Shaalk claidhmore or no.
