Pardon my ignorance, but I haven't played in years. What is fusion?

It's a relatively new system of weapons, armor and shields that have empty sockets. The sockets can have enhancive orbs placed within them which, in turn, grants the item the enhancive properties of the orbs. For example, this particular set of armor currently has a +14 stamina recovery orb and + 7 pole arms bonus orb in it so the armor then grants the wearer those attributes.

Not that I'm aware of. I'm pretty confident padding can be added to fusion items. It was my original intention to add padding via premium points, but I never tried.

Padding and weighting both can be along with flares.

I think however there is a small addition surcharge, like 100 points or something?

My understanding is that the surcharge is dependent upon the cost to recharge the enhancives. With no enhancives (as fusion gear should be in this scenario), I think it's a nominal 900 point surcharge or something along those lines.

not a small surcharge, its a pretty high surcharge. 1800ish I wanna say.

I've had two sets done, dfinitely not cheap.

...if it helps, I think it was right around 5000 bps to pad a 7x fusion armor.
