60 bard with training question. any hope?

I have been off and on for 10 years and back for another stint. i think i messed up on some bad advice to train and looking at some post here maybe beyond repair. any hope? Was trying for a balance over all idea but hmm. COL and still not sure where i will hunt.

You're level 60?

I'd suggest:
(1) Drop armor use to 60 ranks. If you want to cast MnE spells in the field for some reason, just sing chain shirt. One of the best things about bards is how their gear adapts.
(2) Drop HP ranks to your level. More than that is 1 mana/rank.
(3) Drop SMC, pick up MMC
(4) 3 ranks of survival is worthless.
(5) In my opinion, what needs points is: mental lores (telepathy is most important for physical builds), getting MnE to 25, dodge.

ok most makes sense thanks, what of telepathy over manipulation, sonic sword a great advantage? and will work to 425 and hold bard circle off

This may be past the point of being useful.

I'd go up to 430 and then up the bard tree - rally is great and all but you're only 10 trains away from having it anyway and 425n430 add more off/def than you can get out of the extra 10 ranks in Bard.
