PP Protocol Question

There is no good place to put this, but I figured the Appraisal folder would be the least obtrusive.

(1) I am non-premium. I have an item I would like PP enchanted. How is this typically dealt with? If I trust the seller enough, it is normal to hand it over to have them do their premium point voodoo?

(2) I possess something fancy. To take it from 4x to 5x would be 100*25 + 1000 (also known as 3500 PP)?

1. Yes or do an account take over.

2. Something like that. Pcalc is wrong on it and they(GMs) have been miscalculating items recently.

I got quoted on a racial falchion, which was above my estimate, and a day or so later I got a new message on the scroll that they calculated wrong and they raised it again. Just a heads up.
