So some of you may have the opportunity to watch a video from a Chinese tv show that shows a toddler girl die in a gruesome way. I assume it will make its way around other forums.

Don't fucking watch it. It seriously ruined my entire morning.

Trust me on this. You want to avoid watching that video at all costs. Fucking heartbreaking.

You realize that by saying don't watch it, it will urge more people to watch it.

People are bound to see it.

If they don't trust me, it is their own fault.

GRAPHIC The video is of a little girl being run over multiple times, passed by 18 other people who do nothing, and then being found by her hysterical parents. GRAPHIC

It's fucking terrible.

Some people. Some of us have limits, even on the intertubes. I'll take Keller's advice on this one - even the thought of the video freaks me out a little. Actually watching it would be more than I want to deal with.

A lot of times I'll click those links because I'm pretty sure it's going to be fake - the camera will cut to a later image of her healthy and happy, playing with toys in her back yard or something. If not that, then there will be some really bad editing in there. Every now and then I'm surprised by one that actually is real, or is done well enough that I can't tell. Knowing in advance that this is one I won't want to see is definitely a good thing.

While his post did make me a little curious, I will definitely NOT being watching it.

Ugh, video was brutal. Several people just nonchalantly walked by, which is just absolutely terrible aside from wincing at the second vehicle.

Article regarding it that does *not* show the video:

Not sure how much of "good news" this would be, but apparently she is not dead, but is in ICU.

I don't watch disturbing video's anymore. I can't handle it. This one website had like crazy disturbing stuff and it scarred me.

I watched a home-video of 3 teenagers kill a guy in the woods and then stab him and do shit to his body with tools and stuff.

It actually changed my life and I will never watch another graphic internet video again.

Just read the story about it, all those assholes just walking by and ignoring her as she bleeds out in the street, the trash collector was the only one that cared to help. Fucking people.

I wouldn't watch a video like that to begin with but thanks for the heads up. When I was like 15 or so I'd go to rotten.com but somewhere in between then and now I developed a sense of compassion.

The only reason I watched it was because I thought it was just going to be a video of a little girl getting run over by another human being. I should have scrolled down before I hit play.

I went to the sight to watch it. Saw the still frame of the video before you press play and saw her lying on the floor clutching her head. That shook sense into me and I didn't press play.
The story is fucking horrific.

This link has a picture of a toddler being worked on in an ER that might be disturbing to some, but no direct-play of the video mentioned in OP:

Foshan toddler Yueyue still under intensive care (http://shanghaiist.com/2011/10/17/foshan_toddler_yueyue_still_under_i.php)
Earlier media reports that Yueyue, the toddler who was knocked down by two vehicles outside a market in Foshan, has passed away have turned out to be false.

Yueyue's mother has appeared on Sina Weibo herself to clarify the situation. She said that while Yueyue was still unable to breathe on her own, her situation has stabilised, and she has regained some sensation in her limbs. Doctors say that her chances of recovery are now better than earlier estimated.

...

Meanwhile, the first driver who knocked down Yueyue has also been apprehended by the police. Chinese media reports say he had just broken up with his girlfriend and was on his cell phone when he hit the girl.

Said the driver over the phone to the media before surrendering to the police, "If she is dead, I may pay only about 20,000 yuan ($3,125). But if she is injured, it may cost me hundreds of thousands yuan."
