Anyone else happen to notice this? They have what looks like an extremely abbreviated interview with Elonka, mostly talking about cryptography and she plugs Tiny Heroes. There's brief mention of Gemstone (literally, it just says Simu created Gemstone), and there's also a link to her personal website that has a another link pointing to free GS trials.
As a cynic through and through, I'd be very surprised if anything happened because of this, but I guess any kind of non-negative reference is better than nothing. Plus Penny Arcade is pretty great, so there's always that.
