View Full Version : Innumerable charges?

I have scoured the threads here, as well as over on the official boards (by the way, what the hell system is that? I never can figure out how to post, must less see "old" threads!) and have found only bits and pieces of information about this.

Is there any listing of how many charges equate each different level of messaging?

I'm working on a loresinging script for myself, that would take my input and spit out my message to the 'client' based on information received from the song. However, I have no idea really what "a few charges" means. Likewise, having "almost innumerable charges" - does that mean I'll never have to recharge it? Does it mean it'll last for 100 charges? Do we even know?

I realize some of the charm of all this may be that it's so shrouded in mystery, but it's frustrating to not understand the messaging, and to have it be so vague in its responses. I'd just like to be able to tell the client, "this item appears to have less than twenty but more than ten charges."

Any help available for this? Please? Thanks in advance!

Note: when I speak of scripts and spitting out messages, I am not looking to automate anything...I mean only that I am creating a form where I can click options and then based on those options, have a message to give to the item holder. Will make things easier!

I really want to know how high "your average giantman can count." For some reason they all get offended when I ask.

Your post count and positive attitude suggests you're new. But your join date suggests otherwise.

Pretty sure "an average amount of mana" is somewhere around 60 if that helps. With charges, it's hit or miss. I usually get an exact number with the elemental sphere imbeds. Of course, you could always use the AI crystal to decode the charge messaging from loresongs. I don't think people have a clear idea about enhancive charge durations but they're harder to track anyway (or at least more annoying).

The official forums: for god's sake don't ask.

This is the best I've been able to come up with based off my own research and assorted data here...

0. out of charges
1. a few
2. several charges
3. fair amount
4. quite a few -- 10 charges
5. a lot -- 20 charges
6. more than your average -- 30 charges
7. a huge number -- 40 and 50 charges
8. almost innumerable
.
.
? nearly infinite amount

I've been around a long time, but I took a very, very long hiatus. Still, technical knowledge is minimal, at best.
