I have a fixskill left, and wanted to retrain my warrior to do bounties better.
What's the recommendation for perception, first aid, and survival?
I know perception is needed to spot bandit traps.
Perception and survival for foraging.
And first aid and survival for skinning.
Thanks,

For what it's worth, as a rogue I did just 1x survival once for skinning (around level 50-60) and it might as well have been nothing. That's all I can really speak to from personal experience. (This was pre-bounty system and just because I was in Pinefar).
I guess my logic concerning skinning bounties is that unless you're going balls deep, there's no point. If you dabble, you'll probably have some success but less than you already do at any other task (creature/heirloom/bandit/etc). So you'd be spending TPs to qualify for being assigned skinning tasks which you'll be worse at (and thereby reducing your overall success at bounties).
But again, I've never been 1x survival and FA.
Also, with bandits, they use subdual strike often. I think it's subdual strike rather than subdue because I get nailed by it all the time (despite being a master in subdue). Maybe subdue doesn't give a defensive bonus against subdual strike? Anyway, if this is the case, you could put a few points into subdual strike defensively. That's almost ALWAYS their opening maneuver (same for escorts). They also use cheapshots a lot but there's not much you can do about that.

As a warrior, I was 1x FA and 1x Survival and 1x perception until cap and never had a problem with skinning and foraging tasks unless I damaged the site where the skin was. Never Post cap I maxxed FA for a couple reasons (largely because I wanted to get really really good at both skinning and foraging but also largely because in the Rift, I end up eating lots and lots of herbs).
Also, post cap, I maxxed perception, which is nice for avoiding bandits traps, but they do still get you more often than I'd like, and they still jump you with subdual (strike? iunno).
In my experience 1x on all three, Survival, FA, and Perception were always (like always always) totally more than enough to be good at all of the above. And they are all cheap. I never had problems fitting them in 1x per train, especially once you are at 140 ranks of armor, where you can afford to stop for a while (there was no reason to go any higher for the vast vast majority of the time that I have been playing, and anyway, I left it there until post cap anyway). I only felt like getting better at those ancillary skills post cap because...well...post cap you can do whatever you want.

I'd like to try 1x Survival, FA, and Perception. But I need to free up some points. At Level 59, here's my current training:
150 Armor Use (for full plate & support 5)
2x THW (120 ranks)
2x brawl (120 ranks)
2x CM (120 ranks)
55 MOC (three focused strikes)
40 ambush (for aiming)
2x PF (120 ranks)
1.5x dodge (90 ranks)
4 HP
.5x climb (30 ranks)
.5x swim (30 ranks)
Thanks,

That build is about what I had, only I was x1 in dodge and had x1 in survival, first aid, and trading, this was somewhere in my late 60s I guess it must have been. My MoC wasn't at 55 but a solid x1 as well. Mid 90s I wanted more dodge so I brought that up a little past 1.5, when I capped I used a fixstat potion and ended up with 152 ranks of dodge. I think I only lost ten dodge ranks with the change but I had also been saving up tps because I knew I'd be losing quite a few.

Hmm, well, like Jeril said, you could try laying off Dodge for a little while. 10-20 dodge ranks at 2x prices would go a long way to getting your ancillary skills up there, and probably won't noticeably hurt your defense. Also you can probably leave your climbing and swimming where they are for a while. Just work on pushing any extra points you find yourself with into those ancillaries for a while and they'll start to grow pretty quickly.

Ok, I followed everyone's suggestions, and dropped dodge to 1x. I was then able to afford 1x perception, first aid and survival. (I even bumped MOC up to 60 ranks!).
AND I still have over 300 TP's. I'll wait to spend those until later.
Thanks for the help,

i'll echo the 1x perception, FA, and survival for grinding bounties. i rarely get hit by traps anymore, and haven't had a a problem with skinning or foraging tasks. once and a while, you'll have trouble with an exceptional skinning task on a critter that's notoriously difficult to skin. I didn't have trouble fitting it in to my training plan either (GoS):
2x+ PF (spare points go here)
2x armor, cm, thw, dodge
1x survival, perception, first aid
90 ranks moc
50 ranks swim/climb
25 ranks ambush, miu, arcane symbols, harness power

I agree completely. Been fully singled on FA, Survival and Perception and I skin pretty good. This is how I made the majority of my cash on Teras as the lower end of the village doesn't have any value outside of skins. Those few hundred coins a kill add up.
As for foraging I even go as far as doing some foraging bounties for coin. At 57 fully singled most herbs take me around a roll of 80 to find them.
I recently picked up some roa'ter hides for a sheath I'm making, skinned 50 outta 50. (Not that roa'ters are hard to skin but still)
