As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the enruned claidhmore in your hand, and you learn something about it...

The first thing that strikes you about the claidhmore is the weight, which is about 12 pounds. In your best estimation, it's worth about 15,000 silvers. You can also tell that there is some type of metal in the structure of the enruned claidhmore.

From the pitch of the vibration you determine that the purpose of the claidhmore is as some type of weapon.

The harmonics generated tell you that the claidhmore inflicts more fearsome wounds when it strikes.

Is the more fearsome wounds normal for claidhmores? Or is this more fearsome than most?

that's just the normal crit weighting message all claids have.

If you have some reason to think it might be different (read as: ridiculously rare old as dirt claids) you'd need to get it assessed.

Bards can't tell weighting/padding levels. That's the messaging given for critical weighting of any type.
