Haashek's Legacy & Thank You's

I see on the various articles there is no use to respond to the constant critical bickering with folks that just want to do that.. bicker. So I will write this epistle without any slams to anyone. Great Lord (aka Legend for us old timers) Haashek has been in the lands for about 7 years that spanded over 12 years with various breaks. Married Great Lady Opheleeah 3.5 yrs ago which was the best day in the lands for me. We then adopted many kids which in turn brought us a lineage that we both are very proud of. And though it is a pretend family in RP, Ophe & I got to meet some outstanding people we can call our friends. To this day, many stay in touch with both of us. Im so thankful for this part of Gemstone in not just our family but the mass meeting of some beautiful people outside our family. I could name names but I probably will forget many who in their kindness made my times enjoyable in many respects. We all have our short comings.. hunting errors, RP weaknesses, but I like to think that somehow I had some serious fun with folks. There are some I will name simply because they mean alot to me. If I dont name you please dont be offended. It's just a small list of folks that are very high I feel in integrity. Clerics Delyorik, Primum, Polaris, Darkor, Kelyntair, Zabarieth,Illarea,Mythala are a small few that I cant say thank you enough. Casters Kogline, Edgeleaf, Anticor, Ironblue, Kennison, Sabbat, Victorae, Angellisa, Augustania, Soiren, Tysiln, Elovin, Herachio, Silvenesti, Cassineya (with her super gang) helping me in battle with spells.. thank you folks. Rogues, Hawkster, Jaefer, Shaykee, Rilven, Taeth, Chaum, Rafaele, Shilaz, Grondal, Nynaere and many other fine rogues I thank you for helping me. Rangers .. My Wife Ophe, Shinoo, Marb, Radeek, now my memory is failing LOL. Augie the Super Tart Queen. My warrior buds in the guild.. Haashek, while it's great that you post here,:wow: I hope you understand that the majority of the people here hated everything about your character.

I think if these family dedication posts (dare I say, articles) contribute to an increasing nostalgia that leads to you returning to gemstone, then you should stop them now.

I, and many others here don't want to see you in the game. I know you cannot comprehend the why of this, but this is the way it is.

I found it funny that he only remembers 2 other warriors in the guild. One of the things I remember from both the boards and in game is that he pretty much refused to do much if any guild work and even when other warriors tried to teach him to hunt he blew them off....

Yea... he was claiming that one night on the amulet...

He grew quiet though when a group of us dispelled his BS. I imagine he has been here 3... maybe 4 at the most.

Still... it is quite an accomplishment. Someone with absolutely no tactical thought to hunting was able to get a warrior to 50. Sure, he could only hunt when he was spelled to the gills... but to simply know very little about proper hunting tactics.. not too bad.

I've never actually met him in game. I've seen his name scroll in the all painful screams of death, but that don't tell me anything other then he is a poor hunter. I've not died by anything but Trap failures in months. I even actually hunted over my head in that time (whoda thunked it?!) and managed to come back alive. Death is a part of the game..but I do seriously think 90% of the deaths in this game is either murder, or someone doing something stupid.

Most people treat others the same way they treat them, if he wants everyone to treat him kindly, then perhaps he should start doing it himself.

It wouldn't take me "7" years to figure out I was pissing people off with my behavior to realize that I need to change my ways. I'm pretty sure people didn't start off mean to him when he first started but it probably progressed to that when he wouldn't believe his behavior was unacceptable.

By the way, just because the opinionated and verbal people of the lands didn't like him doesn' t mean that he didn't have friends that would want him to stay. Doesn't make his actions any better.

How is he a nice guy? The reason I hate him so much is because he bitched warned me because I didn't agree with him. Then he warned me if I said one thing that had ANYTHING that could deal with him. This includes saying I didn't like voln or something.

He isn't a nice guy, he likes a few people and the rest of the world he is a complete asshole too. Rescueing people isn't give others respect. A lot of people do it. I know a few times he bitched on the voln net because one of my characters got a body before him and fogged them out. Then I said "I got him, safe at voln." and he bitched and complained about how I should have told him not to go there. I happened to come accross this guys body hunting and I fogged him out, I guess next time I should just let him sit there and wait for Haashek to get there so he can say "Legend Boom boom's take out service rescues another....."

After all his crap, I've decided to make it a goal of mine to make his life hell, and I'm so happy that I contributed to him leaving the lands. He might have a few people asking him to come back, who cares. Hell even Bob might get a few people that would say "come back Bob" if he left the lands. I would say that 95% of the lands don't like Haashek, I guess the 5% are asking him to come back.

As for helping him? That's a laugh. He complains when you try to help him. I tried to give him tips so he would stop bitching constantly, but all he did was warn and report me. I guess puberty has a PMS effect on Haashek.....

Note: No one ever cares why you're in a pissy mood. Valid reason? Who cares? If you're grumpy, you're either a bitch or an asshole. That's simply how things are in Elanthia. Hence why, if I'm having a 'bad day', I go hunting. And I stay hunting until it passes.

Oh... and as for activities that aggrivate one into pissing and moaning constantly... the simple solution is to try something different. It isn't EVERYONE'S fault that Haashek had a bad hunt. If you subscribe to that kind of theory, then the little snerts would be right when they think it's MY JOB to take them hunting, and bind things for them. Sorry. That's a delusion. Haashek, if you wish not to be maligned it is probably best not to bring opportunity to these boards. It seems there are those here who find pleasure only in the misery of others.

If you leave Gemstone, fare thee well. If you remain, enjoy the game. Your character and mine interacted on several occasions. Often, the realities and requirements of gameplay seemed to frustrate you. If you can but realize that the game will be what the makers of said game decide it will be, play for the joy of playing, and leave it behind when you walk away from the computer, you can find pleasure in Elanthia. Your journies there, however, are only an adjunct to life and should never come to define it.

The IP addresses mean nothing since he is using AOL as he has already said. Everytime you dial up under AOL, your IP address changes.
