twin-barbed perfect steel chest-ripper
With a haft of polished ironwood, the chest-ripper is wrapped in a diagonal-fashion with ebon suede that allows large sections of the wood to be displayed and culminates at a steel cap at the bottom. Blackened steel is fused to the haft and perfectly forged to create the head of the piece, which is that of a twin, blade-barbed fixture that is wickedly sharp and cruelly hooked. You notice a small enchanter's glyph and Bluesmith's crafting mark.

How well does an awl-pike stack up next to a lance? I've never really used them at all.

Awl-pikes stack up pretty well against a lance. They are better against leathers and rigid leathers, a little worse on chain, and exactly the same on plate. They fall behind against skin class armor, but who honestly cares what your DF is on skin, any hit is going to max the crit range.

The weight is a very nice boon to them as well. The base weight on an awl-pike is something like 8-10 against the lance's 15. This means you can- with relative ease- get 5 or 6 pound awl-pikes.

Ok so one last question (im not just randomly asking here i'm, interested in these weapons) do they hit as hard as a lance does?

I tested one out and liked the results so...

I got a buy out from Khastle on the chest-ripper via PM.

Also I have one interested party in the trasluscent glaes I'm waiting to hear back from.
