Name some TV shows that your S/O makes you watch and you secretly enjoy or just those that you super secretly enjoy. For me:

Castle
Rookie Blue
Pawn Stars
Human Target (just got cancelled)

DCSL

Supernatural. Don't hurt me.

Stopped TV all together, but when I was watching, really bad late night movies would be your answer.

I don't have a S/O. But!

Project Runway (I am neither gay nor like fashion, but I like the show)

Hell's Kitchen (terrible, yes, but unintentional comedy abounds)

Pro Wrestling

Do I really need to go on after Bones?

Why would Bones be considered a "guilty pleasure"? I'd think guilty pleasure is awful TV that you can't help but love, whereas Bones is just awesome TV.

I don't really have any "secret" guilty pleasure TV shows - everyone knows about my love of Jersey Shore, lol. I also watch Teen Mom and 16 & Pregnant.

The News...

Everyone knows that shit ain't real, but I keep on a-watching. You never know what that wacky Joe Scarborough is gonna do. He so CRAZY!!!

And I would like to know how Michael Steele can be on every freaking news show, on every single network, every single day.

Human Target (damnit on cancellation)
Hawaii Five-O (I was annoyed at first. Then it hit me. I just like TV set in Hawaii. It doesn't even have to have a good plot.)

Was human target the show about people competing with all manner of ranged weapons? I wonder why they cancelled that. It looked to be fairly popular.

As for me, cartoons of all types. I probably shouldn't enjoy Adventure Time as much as I do.

That's Top Shot and it's still on and awesome. Also, Adventure Time is a great show.

My daughter forces me to watch 'Bridezillas' and 'The Bad Girls Club'.

Every single episode of NCIS (at least twice, maybe three times) At least once each for the NCIS LA, too.

Eureka!

Every John Wayne movie ever made.

Sometimes Hawaii Five Oh (for the potential shirtlessness of a tv sex god and 5 minutes of obligatory Kauai aerials.)

And then the one I'm really embarressed of :

Top Shot (Colby and his cheeseball GW accent - NOBODY IN TEXAS ACTUALLY TALKS LIKE THAT.)

I don't watch TV at all on my own, so anything I see is because he made me watch it.

Law & Order: SVU
Pawn Stars (don't watch it all the time, but if I walk by the TV and it's on I'll sit down)
Friday Night Lights (finished now)

War Angel

I got sucked into watching:

Jersey Shore (Incredibly stupid, but I'll still watch it.)
Vampire Diaries (I think I watched the whole first season, but I broke free of it in the second. I won't watch it at all now.)

I don't watch much TV now but I used to love (and be horribly ashamed of loving) America's Next Top Model. The models are train wrecks, Tyra is full of herself and cheesy as hell, and I never think the girls are all that good looking. Then they show the photo shoot and they look completely different, I loved it.

It's a guilty pleasure because I'm a 30 year old single guy.

Also, it's just a starter guilty pleasure. A gateway guilty pleasure, if you will.

Alright... so where did the gateway take you? Hopefully somewhere far more salacious.

Anyone watch Terra Nova? I want to like the show.. but the storyline is retarded.

No... as soon as I read about the story I said, "Ok, so you destroyed the planet. Why go all the way back in time to where there are dinosaurs and you're no longer at the top of the food chain? Why not just go back to where mankind began to sprout up, or just before? You know, no dinosaurs to run from or be eaten by?" Then I decided it was fucking retarded, and I wasn't going to watch it.

Also, I agree 120% with Psych, except that I don't feel guilty watching it. That show is pure genius with a pop culture infusion of awesome.

That's been my reaction to it so far. I want to like it. I LOVE Stephen Lang. But.. it's just not hitting any buttons with me. It's been terribly predictable in the worst way. I'm giving it a couple more episodes.

I never realized Dule Hill had another job after the West Wing. I might have to watch it.

And is that really the storyline of Terra Nova? Cause that's ridiculous. I saw a commentary was like "Why are you using fences to fence in flying dinosaurs? Why didn't you bring helicoptors with you, instead of these easily-outrunnable jeeps?"

I've only seen the pilot episode.. but I get the idea that the time period they are going to is set, not that they chose to go 85 million years in the past.

There are so many problems with the concept though.. as it relates to time travel. Shit, you catch the wrong bony fish or run over the wrong rodent scurrying around.. you could essentially wipe out all of mankind.

They already addressed this in the pilot. They are in a time fracture, not the same timeline as the one they came from. Although they kinda hint near the end that may not be the case, in which case it's really dumb.

I must have missed the part where it was a different timeline.. but I thought the writing on the stones at the falls suggested it was the same timeline?

Drew

Yeah they hinted at it at the end. Early in the episode remember they talked about the probe or whatever they sent through? It's like a monument in the camp now. They never found the probe in the future, that's how they knew it wasn't the same timeline.

I forgot Top Chef! For me it's like watching magicians do magic tricks. I giggled like a tart last season when they made tarts. I clapped. I was the picture of delighted bliss.

It was hinted towards myself later in the evening (by someone I trust and care for no less!) that a cheesecake tart is really not all that difficult and I would know this if I could cook anything other than chicken. :(
