Long time lurker, have never posted much of anything. My longtime friend just KILLED an audition for X Factor last night on the Chicago auditions show, and I wanted to share it with you.

I saw this last night and he was really good. Though, his mom seems all sorts of crazy. Hope she doesn't murder you in your sleep.

He lives in Cbus now, grew up in Wooster. His mom was one of the Jr High teachers. She is out there, but pretty laid back when she isn't on TV.

No, I think the OP plays GS. This is just the OPs friend.

In either case, congratulations to your friend. He seemed to do a good job (don't know the song personally) and all those judges liked it.

Being around karaoke I hear at last done well..and butchered by women all the time.. I'd wondered what it would sound like with a guy singing... and singing well..
Holy shit.. I love when someone can sing with so much soul it gets inside of you.. It just sucks they have to do the condensed bits for the auditions.. I'd love to hear him do the whole song.

This Tuesday starts X factor live shows. I'm not 100 percent sure if that means telephone voting, but my friend could use all the votes he can get! He made it to the top 17!

I knew the first time I heard him sing he'd be in the top 10. I predicted it'd come down to him and Rachel Crow... looks like I was wrong about Rachel but I'm really hoping Josh wins.
