Anyone started figuring this out? Also looking for a log of the opening of the deed system for Mist Harbor. If you have it, please PM me, thanks!
Thanks to Inurtia for taking the time to walk me through a deed in the Northern Room. I stuck around to figure out the other rooms and this is what I've determined so far:
Entrance:
[Cavern, Entry]
Enormous black iron doors, their faces carved with labyrinthine whorls and bas-relief tunnels, stand as a formidable guard to the world beyond the cavern. Wide bronze braziers, each set equidistant from their neighbor, line the long corridor, their brightly glowing coals casting shadows on the distant ceiling. Painted onto the smooth walls are a series of bright blue, azure, and white murals. You also see a willow-thin human priest.
Obvious exits: northwest
Braziers
Fashioned of bronze, the brazier is an enormous bowl of bronze that is supported upon the backs of three herons that have their wings spread wide. Small signs of verdigris deterioration decorate the triple-stranded braid that is fused to the outer lip of the piece, the dark discoloration a testament to its antiquity. A crown of long spears, bent slightly backwards, decorates the top of the brazier and is incised with delicate wind-like whorls.
Murals
>look at mural
You see nothing unusual.
I>peer mur
Maybe you should look at the murals and work with one at a time.
I>look first mur
You see nothing unusual.
I>look second mur
I could not find what you were referring to.

I bugged this, not sure if this is like the items in the Illistim wizard's guild where there are, for example, a set of three flames, blue flame, white flame and ?color? flame. So you can examine 4 flames.
Priest's idle scripts:
Noticing that one of the torches has gone out, the priest quickly pulls the burnt stub from its bracket and replaces it with a fresh one.
Faint and carefree, the delicate trill of a wren fills the air with its sweet song. Lifting his gaze towards the ceiling, the priest smiles and says, "Thank you, little brother."
Moving quietly to your side, the priest whispers to you, "I know all manner of things about this place. If you wish me to share my knowledge, then simply ask me about NORTH winds, SOUTH winds, EAST winds, WEST winds, or just the WINDS in general. I also know about the FEATHER, the ALTAR, and the POT." Nodding once, he moves away to give you some privacy.
Kneeling upon some thick azure rugs, a willow-thin human priest intones a soft prayer before the altar and watches as a single feather drifts down from above. Rising, he follows it out of the chamber only to return several seconds later with a pleased look upon his face.
A willow-thin human priest chants,
"Oh, Father of All Winds,
We, your children, beseech you.
Bless us, dear Father, with thy breath,
That we might know true freedom."
Cool winds drift through the cavern, their ethereal tendrils setting the feathers upon a willow-thin human priest's cloak to fluttering.
Asking priest about items he mentioned:
ask priest about north wind
Smiling, Fyodar says, "The altar that sits in that portion of the cavern is dedicated to the northern winds, which are the cold, fierce winds that are born of the element water. There's an urn there that you'll want to POUR over the basin that holds your offering. Once that is done, you'll want to share your breath to freeze the pieces and then LIGHT the brazier to evaporate it all."
ask priest about south wind
Gazing at the distant ceiling, Fyodar distractedly says, "The altar that sits there is dedicated to the southern winds, which are the winds that bring us heat because they are born of the element fire. If you wish to make an offering there, then you must SPRINKLE the OIL over the basin and LIGHT it on fire. Share your breath, too, for that is the touch that makes your offering pure."
ask priest about east wind
Pondering, Fyodar says, "Well, I believe that altar is given to the winds of the east, which is tied to spices and the element of air. When making an offering there, you may want to LIGHT some INCENSE and EXHALE its fumes over the BASIN."
ask priest about west wind
Nodding several times, almost as if distracted, Fyodar finally says, "The alter erected over there is given to the west winds, which are the winds of life and tied to the element of earth. You will want to TAKE some soil from the VESSEL and pack it in around your offering. Then you shall need to POUR some water and watch what happens. The key here is to share your internal breath with your offering."
ask priest about altar
Glancing at the altar, Fyodar says, "It is the missing piece from above. Once, long ago, it tumbled from the ceiling and left us a clear view of the sky. Through that opening, the winds grace us with their daily breath."
ask priest about pot
Smiling, Fyodar says, "One may have to SPRINKLE a pot over a BRAZIER or BASIN, though some you may have to POUR over them."
ask priest about feather
"Ah, yes," Fyodar says quietly, "The feather is a guide. When you pray it rises to your destination and you must follow it."
Northwest from entrance:
[Cavern, Altar Room]
Vaulted and wide open, the cavern is illuminated by the numerous torches that are hung in large wrought iron rings anchored to the smooth stone walls. High in the distant ceiling is a wide hole that allows moonlight to cast its silver glow upon a smooth round stone altar that has been placed in the center of the chamber. Overlapping thick azure rugs ring the room's single piece of furniture, their faces decorated with interlocking whorls and geometric shapes.
Obvious exits: north, east, southeast, south, west
Torches:
Fashioned from fresh rushes, the torch set within the iron ring appears to be new. Score marks in the soot upon the wall behind the torch display signs of recent cleaning, and the gentle gleam that reflects the light off of the iron rings suggests that the area is well maintained.
Altar:
Resembling a large stone that has been tumbled by the sea, the altar is smooth and completely round. The hue, grade, and texture of the piece completely matches that of the surrounding walls and floor, making it difficult to imagine the piece as coming from anywhere else.
Rugs:
Woven into a tight wave, the lamb's wool used to create the rugs is dyed a bright azure color. Cream and pure white patterns interrupt the uniform blue of the various pieces to create interlocking chains of delicate whorls and overlapping geometric shapes. Though slightly worn in some areas, the rugs appear well cared for and look very soft.
Exits:
Only accessible exit is southeast.
When moving ANY other direction:
As you begin to walk north, wind rips down the corridor and blocks your forward passage. Perhaps if you earned the favor of the winds you could proceed?
I also bugged this as in the directions Out, Up, Down, NW, NE and SW, the response should instead be:
You can't go there.
Getting a deed:
I was able to get deeds in this one using roughly 100 x level + 100 x <number of deeds> (probably not linear as the formula is not linear in Landing or RR (other towns that use gems I am unsure about). Rather expensive compared to most other cities that allow gems to be used.
I do wonder if there are other items that can be used within each room that will supply a deed. I tested several different items but was unable to get a deed using anything else.
Perhaps...
Teras Isle gems will work at 3x their value in the (Southern) Fire room?
Tried a Teras gem worth 5500, did not get a deed in the fire room.
Icemule, River's Rest, Solaven gems will work 3x their value in the (Northern) Ice room?
Elven Nation gems will work as 3x their value in the (Eastern) Air room?
What about the (Western) Earth room?
Praying will take you to one of 4 rooms, North room, East room, South room, West room.
pray
You reverently kneel before the round stone altar.
As you bow your head in prayer, a single feather drifts down from above and floats over the alter. Lifting your eyes to watch it, the feather hovers for several moments and then suddenly swirls to the south. You stand up and follow it.
If you stay within the room for two long, you will be forced out:
First warning:
Faint, yet nagging, a light zephyr tugs at your limbs and urges you into motion. Your mind fills with a deep sense that all hope of favors will be lost if action is not taken soon.
Second warning:
Firm and persistent, the zephyr takes on the strength and begins to push your body towards the west. The weight of your inaction fills you with the certain knowledge that if you do not proceed soon, your forward progress will be lost, as well as your offerings.
Final warning:
Demanding and invasive, the air builds with pressure until, finally, your body can stand up to it no more and you find yourself forcibly blown east.
North Room:
[Cavern, Northern Room]
Water forms a gentle curtain of deep blue across the northern wall beyond the deep blue altar at the back of the chamber, its source hidden somewhere above. Two stalactites, one upon the eastern edge and the other on the western edge of the altar, steal water from the curtain and drop it drip by drip into the brass urns set beneath them. Though a small amount of heat rises from the nearby brazier, the air here is chilly enough to allow one's breath to be seen.
Obvious exits: south
stalactite
Originating somewhere in the distant ceiling, the stalactite descends in a cone-like shape above the altar. A single arm stretches behind to capture a small bit of water from the aquatic curtain on the northern wall and gently drips it into the waiting vessel beneath.
brazier
Square in shape, the brazier is barely a hand's span high and equally as thick. Hot, glowing coals fill the bottom, their bright red hues casting a warm glow upon the altar.
urn
Set beneath a stalactite, the urn shows signs of recent polishing. Small scratches and dents within its rounded bottom give the piece a sense of antiquity that no amount of cleaning can erase.
Actions in North room:
>put <offering> in basin
You carefully place your offering in the basin.
>pour urn on basin
Lifting the urn from the edge of the altar, you carefully fill the basin with water and then lower the urn.
>exhale basin
A deep chill fills the chamber and you exhale upon the water that houses your offering. The water instantly freezes.
>light brazier
[quote]
Taking a match in hand, you light the brazier beneath and transform the frozen water, and your offering, to steam. Slowly, the steam dissipates and takes your offering with it.
As the chilled air seeps into your bones, you are filled with the cold certainty that you have undermined your own value.
FAIL

As the chilled air seeps into your bones, the warmth that fills your body pushes away the cold of the area.
SUCCESS!!!
East Room:
[Cavern, Eastern Room]
Painted from floor to ceiling in transitioning lines of burnt umber, brick red, and yellow ochre, the eastern chamber terminates in a smooth wall inlaid with a colorful tile mosaic. Beneath the piece of artistry is a single altar that has a smooth red glass basin recessed near the front edge, while a small brazier and a pile of columnar incense are neatly arranged near the back. Rich, thick fragrances fill the air, their scents reminiscent of cinnamon, cloves, and saffron.
Obvious exits: west
mosaic
Crafted of thumb-sized ceramic tiles, the mosaic is that of a bustling spice market filled with both merchants and customers. Cinnamon, saffron, caraway, cloves, and other spices are displayed upon counters or hanging from the eaves of various stalls. Tendrils of smoke rise from the market into an azure sky where a man hovers, supported by the six wings that jut from his back.
basin
Polished to a lustrous sheen, the basin is a deep bowl that is illuminated by some unseen source beneath the altar. Whorls of yellow ochre and burnt umber invade the deep red of the piece.
Actions for Eastern Room:
>put <offering> in basin
You carefully place your offering in the basin.
>light incense
You light the incense with a coal from the brazier. Smoke gathers and slowly trickles into the basin, its thick cloud covering your offering from sight and filling the air with a heavy spice.
>exhale basin
Exhaling upon the gathered smoke, you honor Jaston by creating enough wind with your own breath to displace the smoke within the basin.
As the scent of spice slowly drifts away, you feel a deep sense of longing and contemplate the worth of what you had to offer.
FAIL

As the scent of spice slowly drifts away, you are filled with a deep sense of accomplishment.

South Room:
[Cavern, Southern Room]
Bright torches are anchored high-up on the smooth chamber walls, their distant glow painting the walls a bright orange and red hue. Stretching across the southern wall is a long altar of hardened wood, its ornate face inlaid with a deep red obsidian basin. Some glass vials filled with an opaque liquid are arranged in alternating order with tall bamboo canisters housing matches crafted of long sticks. The air is heavy with warmth and smells faintly of burning oil.
Obvious exits: north
altar
Crafted of ironwood, the wooden altar is carved with a plethora of flames and geometric patterns.
Actions for Southern room:
>put <offering> in basin
You carefully place your offering in the basin.
>sprinkle vial in basin
Lifting a vial from the edge of the altar, you sprinkle the offering in the basin with oil.
>light basin
Lighting a match, you ignore your offering and watch as the entire basin fills with flames.
>exhale basin
Drawing breath, you exhale across the flames and extinguish the fire. Your offering is no longer there.
As the familiar scent of brimstone and char fills the air, you realize that the fire within had more value than you thought and you feel somehow empty for realizing it too late.
FAIL
Drawing breath, you exhale across the flames and extinguish the fire. Your offering is no longer there.
As the familiar scent of brimstone and char fills the air, you feel energized by your realizations of personal worth.

West Room:
[Cavern, Western Room]
Dark green hues decorate the walls of the chamber, their rich colors illuminated by the circular hole in the ceiling that allows silvery moonlight to filter through the area. Low to the ground, a smooth dark green altar occupies the western wall and is covered with clay vessels, earthen pots, and several ceramic ewers. The sweet scent of flowers fills the air, though its source is hard to identify.
Obvious exits: east
Smooth dark green altar
Low to the ground and crafted of thick stone, the altar is dyed a dark green hue. Bits of rough soil and tiny pebbles have collected upon the floor in front of the altar, though its surface appears devoid of any debris.
Actions for Western Room:
>put <offering> in vessel
You carefully place your offering in the vessel.
>take pot
Scooping a handful of soil, you fill the clay vessel and cover your offering, taking care to pack it down.
>pour ewer on vessel
Pouring water from the ewer into the vessel, you offer a soft prayer for your endeavors and notice that a shaft of light falls upon your buried offering.
Within moments a dandelion begins to grow into full bloom, its life mysteriously accelerated from seedling, to sapling, to yellow-fringed bloom, to fluffy white frilled flower.
>exhale vessel
Exhaling upon the dandelion, you watch the seeds take to the air and disperse throughout the chamber.
As the cluster of seeds drifts from the chamber, one is left behind and tumbles to the rock. You are struck by the ineffectiveness of a seed trying to find purchase upon stone and suddenly realize that its futility is an echo of your own offering.
FAIL
