Latrin, any chance you could paste results in the opening posts once the weeks have concluded? Digging sucks sometimes. Maybe overall records too?

Exactly hehe. It's more of habit. In all the years we've done this I list them in my order... Basically the order of assessment as I build the list and usually by starting time.

Gibreficul
09-25-2011, 03:08 PM
Fuck your scripts!

I'm going to write a script to report to the NFL when the Pats are illegally using signals normally reserved for player microphones... Wait, the NFL already grew wise to them and put an end to their cheating ways, and their 0 for the playoffs record since then is proof that they can't win an important game if they can't cheat. FUCK THE PATS.

Watched the 2nd part of "A football life" with Cheater Billy Belichick. Best part was at the end when the Ravens ended their season with a convincing ass kicking. It's even more sweet to know the Steelers ended the Ravens's season after the Ravens put on a performance like that.

Yeesh what is up with Roethlisberger, it took 3 linebackers just to take him down before this year now every sack he fumbles. The interceptions are horrid too, I mean its one thing to whip it into tight coverage and get picked off but its like he just occasionally throws to the wrong color this year.

So much hate wrapped up in so little football knowledge. I can see why though. The Steelers have perfected the art of getting to the Super Bowl... ...in the years they don't have to go through the Patriots. Which is good because the Patriots have owned the Steelers in every meaningful game since the Brady era started, including the ones after the video incident. Remember when you guys were 15-1 and everyone was saying you had the best defense in history until Brady came to your house in the AFC championship game and dropped 41 on you? Or when the Patriots came to your place last year and dropped 39? Or this play http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NyaKA1m-GaU when they blew you out in 2007 after the fines? Or in 2005 when they came into your house and Brady threw for 372? You did beat the Patriots in 2008 when Matt Cassel was our QB - good job.

Stick to hockey. Oh wait Boston is the defending champ there.

how many of the yankees titles came when there were that many teams?

Well, there was a pretty big expansion of teams in the 60's and 70's, and once again in the late 90's.

And the Yankee's were pretty much winning every other world series from the 20's to the 60's....so I dunno. Substantial?

Those games were during the cheating days of the Patriots. Keep living in the past, and believing those rings are legit. I still remember the Heinz Ward interview in, I believe the 2002/2003 season, when he said, "It is like they knew what we were doing before we did it." I bet they REALLY DID because they were CHEATING, and Belichick ADMITTED IT. SINCE they got called out for being cheating fucktards, they have gone ZERO for the playoffs. Maybe you should do your homework.

Also, I insist Boston doesn't make the finals without Colin Campbell in the head office pulling strings to turn the tables in their favor. Cooke with a 17 game suspension because they didn't like what Mario said... That's cheating, and the Boston way. Cooke in the lineup means the Penguins beat the Lightning, and Boston probably would've had to play Pittsburgh. For some reason, the NHL threw that cheating bastard out of the head office... guess the league saw what I saw, he isn't capable of being unbiased, and may have swayed the year's results in the favor of his son's team.

At least Mark Recchi got to retire a winner, and at least the cup isn't in Canada.

Maybe you should do your homework.

I'm not really sure what to say. Put aside the fact that the fine happened in week 1 2007 and two of the examples I mentioned happened after that, as well as two playoff wins and being a cunt hair away from 19-0, doesn't it bother you that you have to resort to accusations of cheating because you have nothing else to stand on? The game isn't played in a film room. Teams script the first 15 plays at most and then adapt to what is happening during the game. The Steelers just flat out get crushed every time they play the Patriots.

As for the Red Sox I got nothing there. They honestly don't deserve to make the playoffs this year. But they still have 2004, which is all I need.

The excuse "hey, we would have won, but they cheated" never gets old.

Really.

They've won exactly two things since they were caught cheating; jack and shit.

Yea, neither does hearing Bostomorons say, "we were ALMOST 19-0."

Almost doesn't count, and 18-1 means you're fucking losers. OH, I mean sore losers, as Belichick left the field before the game even ended. The classless piece of shit couldn't even watch the end, or give the Giant's coach a congratulations handshake. The truly GREAT have good sportsmanship, and that's lacking in the Pats organization.

The Rooney family also owns racetracks, which is against NFL rules on gambling involvement. A couple of years ago the Rooneys were forced to restructure their ownership and buy out the brothers who retained their gambling interests, but not until after winning their sixth super bowl. The Rooneys cheated, and their gambling earnings allowed them to fund super bowl-winning teams in the pre-salary cap era. Since this rule breaking was rectified, the Steelers have not won a legitimate super bowl. Sorry

You have the argument all wrong. To prove the steelers are morally bankrupt you just link a wiz khalif video and walk away.

The whole collapse sucked, but for me last night was a net positive. I was pretty sure the Sox were going to lose to Baltimore, and the worst case scenario was for the Yankees to actually do their job and then have us lose to TB in a playoff anyway. But now that they blew a 7-0 lead in epic fashion I can just point to how they blatantly threw the game because they were petrified of facing the team that dominated them in the head-to-head series this year in the playoffs.
