I tested this plate: no TD bonus. Can't have both TD bonus and padding.

inspects as krodera is actually one of those lame auction items they used to release, I wish there was a way I coulda make it into forging slabs

Some merchants RP that they won't even touch krodera items to work on. No chance they'd let players forge with it.
