Any suggestions on where I should hunt? I'm having a hard time finding something my age I can fry on. I currently have 90 mana, up to 518, 417 and 913.

Thanks in advance.

How about arachne servants?

I'll try those. Thanks Artha.

If you're willing to trek around Ice Mule, I used to hunt the Abbey and then zombies for a while around that level(not sure if the level shifting did anything to em).

I think most of that stuff stayed the same, except you need climbing ranks to get there now.

I tried the zombies by the Elven Village in the landing, but it took way too many casts of 906 to bring one down. Perhaps I'm using the wrong tactic...

Are the zombies in the Icemule area the same?

Oh yeah, my bolt AS is around 220. Not sure if that's bad for someone my training.

I'm most likely wrong, but I think the guardians are 16.

Is there anything in the graveyard that swarms, that I could hit with my new fangled cone of lightning spell?

My Wizard hunted Zombies in Mule as well. Easy to get to, quick to node, yes you use alot of mana, but use 908 for the ball effect against undead and you will see improved results. Step outside the door to the node, get your mana back.

OR simply walk into the barn and Mana Leech a wraith.

At 18 I was on the glacier or in warfs, might be rough for you because:

Age change on glaicer
You're a bolter
Not sure what tweaks have been made to warfs or glacier critters.

You could try ghoul masters or the volcano maybe, it's underhunting but it works.

I thought about warfs, simply because I had hunted there with a rogue a long time ago, so I'm somewhat familiar with the area. Anyone happen to know what their bolt DS is?

Hey Stunseed thanks for the suggestion of 908. I definately see an improvement against Rotting Woodmen, over 906.

Honestly, at your train, it's not about the damage, but about the crit you get for it.

Any chump can do 80 damage with a bolt, but for 2 mana, why not blow it's head off with the ball effect? It is more mana, however, I would wager you kill 30% more before running out of mana.

Any suggestions on where to head at 20? I'm most familiar with the Landing and a little bit of Solhaven.

Zombies in Landing/Mule still. Poor as hell, but you need a few more trains under your belt for the next easiest hunt I had as a Wizard. Rotting Farmhands in Mule are 34, so to not get major feared, I'd work Zombies for a while longer.

On the Farm of Mule, also be careful of Elder Tree Spirits. They are 30 trains, and are Cleric food. If you see one, do not attempt to engage, unless your a Voln type. They unbalance, boil, and death cloud, and are non-crittable undead.

It's the second easiest place I know to hunt for your trains, but the Tree Spirits do get lucky once in a while, so be prepared to lose a deed or two < decay >.
