Does it still poison every shot? Thought they killed that.

There is a whole big thread on here and the officials, I thought, about them not poisoning every time or something. http://forum.gsplayers.com/showthread.php?t=65511

I'll missed the part about them nerfing the poisoning on everyshot bit. I'll put the sale on hold for now, until I can test and see if it still does or not.

Sirina confirmed on the officials that the code had not been changed since Khaladon updated it in 2007. There was some weird bug with Neimanz's, but it seems to be working now as well. So, you should be fine, Victorj.

^ Thanks BriarFox. Just to make sure, I tested it out on another char, and it poisoned 25/25 times, so it still does poison every shot. Sale is back on.

it's unfortunate that I my AS is 471 with a 10x. Already have trouble, otherwise I'd actually give this thing a try. Guess I need +40 dex, +50 ranged enhancives first before thinking about this :p

While it seems like an awesome weapon how would one go about using it to its full potential?

I figure things you can't outright kill with an eye shot. Either because of their heavy natural padding or not having any eyes. The poison alone is pretty brutal. You could fire at the target and let the health tick away as you concentrate on another target.
Amazing for a young ranger / rogue who hasn't been able to train very much in Ambush.

^This. On stuff like grimswarm where you can't crit kill, you can just leg them, walk out the room and let the poison do the work.
The poison is mostly superfluous, yeah you can run around and shoot everything in the hunting ground once and watch as you get some exp, it's pretty funny, but not practical. The other issue is that it poisons from 1-75 per round. 75 per round is pretty awesome. But if you hit them with a 12 per, you aren't doing much at all. But it's still an ebow and it has the regular flares which can prone and do some other nifty affects.

I could probably liquidate my awesome armors and then have enough, but I like my protections....

The poison is not superfluous for a second... As a rogue when I owned an ebow I used it regular to shoot a creature that could hurt me via casting (fire mages and 915 anyone?). By the time I made my way around the circle, they would be dead. I also did this in Wyneb.
If you know what you are doing you can minimize your risk for hunting CS based creatures to almost 0 as a rogue.

My bad, I meant it's superfluous for a good class, like a ranger.

Ranger's don't suck.
And why do you say this bow is superfluous for ranger's?

I can't speak for everyone who is a ranger, so I will speak for myself.
My "standard" setup for a ranger is, spike, shoot the eye. Makes them almost always prone before going offensive to shoot them. I can spike the room if I have to and then start shooting.
The poison effect is great for what M444W said, however, if your goal is to just insta gib the room as fast as possible the poison stacking is going to be lost on this tactic.
Rogues lack the hurt of spike.
Basically what Buckwheetles said.

M-fire might actually be useful with this bow.

The very fact it's a self ammo bow warrants ownership regardless of the flares which in my opinion are still noteworthy. My ranger wouldn't part with hers for anything.
Good luck with the sale.
