OK, I'm still not over being the idiot who attempted to cause other people to overpay for Javid Worst and ended up stuck with him and only able to bid a buck for the rest of the auction, but I know other ridiculousness occurred that was hilarious and/or thought provoking:

Randy Moss AND Terrell Owens got picked up (Let alone my attempt at humor by putting up Favre)

Ray Rice was the highest bidded player (I want to hear the reasoning)

Lots of reasonable guys were availiable for a buck near the end, especially solid TEs (which I don't remember from last season).


Anyway, I'm projecting myself a solid 5th place with my team unless Brees has a monster year and Javid isn't made of glass like we all know he is. Anything is better than my dismal finish last year.

Thats one awful auto picker. We had two auto pickers running for our draft and I picked garrard up in like the ninth round. I also had SF's starter as a back up though so was not a big deal to put him on waivers when he got cut.

It's a standard league.. which diminishes Ray's value a little.

My problem with Peterson is he will have a monster game one week, and barely show up the next. He had as many games last season scoring 0 TDs as he had scoring multiple TDs. Hot and cold.. you love him when he's playing well and hate him when he's held to under 100 and 0 TDs.

Charles is a great back.. but doesn't get into the endzone as much as a back with his production should. He will spit out a great run.. then Thomas Jones will punch it in.

I had charles last year and hes a great running back but for whatever reason his coach thinks the best strategy for running backs is to have a work horse running back accumulate yards and then let charles go for a few which really fucks with his fantasy stats because at least last year for whatever reason he took like half the snaps of a normal starting back.

According to the report, Manning will be out at least 2-3 months as he recovers from the procedure. There is no word yet on whether the Colts quarterback will be placed on injured reserve and miss the entire season, or if the Colts will try to give him the chance to get back on the field sometime in 2011.

Had they not taken him off the physically unable to perform list, they could have bought themselves time to decide on Manning's fate without using a roster spot on him.

Manning's absence certainly changes the dynamic of the AFC South, where the Colts have been kingpins for years, winning all but two titles since the division's inception in 2002.

I actually prefer PPR leagues. Gives some additional weight to take into account for players like Rice, Bush, Forte and Sproles.

He is availiable...make me an offer. And Mc Cluster's position works the similarly to what PB described in this league. He is classified as both a RB and a WR, so theoretically you could run 3 RBs, McCluster, and 1 true WR or 1 true RB, Mc Cluster, and 3 WRs if you wanted.

I'm rather shocked I'm 4-0 in this league. I think if Rimalon hadn't fallen for the Cutler Curse and if my troops hadn't come through like they did against Lady Lightning I'd be 2-2. It has mostly been on the back of Run DMC and Breesus with occasional help from Fitzgerald and Best. I doubt anyone, anywhere would have thought that DMC would be the #1 back in the NFL as of week 5 earlier in the season.

I still need a reliable TE. I'll take a reliable 8-10 point guy over my two 3 points one week, 15 points the next ones. Most of my receiver corps is availiable for trade south of Fitzgerald, same with RBs south of Best.

If Jordy Nelson does his typical hot game / cold game / hot game routine.. I could have the lowest score in the league for the year.
