I know someone who complains a lot and when I asked her “what DO you like?” she replied, “Turning on the lights in the morning.”

That made me think about things that I like.

I like writing today’s date with a nice pen. I like making footprints in the snow. I like trying new things.

Sort of on par with that, since I don't have any real kids yet, I like to watch my cat crack out like a nutjob. It is probably the most hilarious thing I've ever seen.

Sleep is definitely up there on the list. Oddly enough, I find that caffeine highs also kick ass. A new favorite is buying something that proves to be exactly as awesome as you hoped it would. I just love when that happens.

I was flying in a plane over Normandy Airport that clipped another plane that was just above us. We made an emergency landing in a river, but the river ended before we stopped so we had to go back up and make another emergency landing in some town with a name like Gloumerrickshire. We finally got off and I grabbed this guy who happened to live in Glouceistershireburgh so I could get to London and get on the plane home. We went into his house so I could use his phone, but he walked through a door to get to it. Turns out he had been his parents' only child and had been dead for years, and sure enough they come home right then (they had had a set of twins since). After I leave I'm trying to text my family to let them know the plane crash wasn't too bad and I'm alive and whatnot, and my phone keeps screwing up. First I figure it's stupid T9 mode or whatever, but it turns out all the keys have changed. 7 is where 6 should be, and instead of normal letters it's just CA, 4's letters are GH7, and so on. Then the choir director told me to turn off my cell phone, and I was Kim Cattrall.

I like waking up and none of that having actually happened. (No offense, Kim Cattrall, but you probably suck at baseball.)

Surviving a plane crash the night before Christmas and buying a scratch off that actually wins more than a free ticket. Then having a good wank to last longer as I visit the neighborhood MILF and get spent. Then I get some real sleep. Then finally, her kids laughing about stupid shit gives me a grin.

Agreed but I would put that under “how am I good at my job” rather than just “what do you like” though I do like that about my job...
