Up for sale/trade is an SD (shadowdeath) morning star and a storm hammer. Each speciics for each item will be listed below, to the best of my knowledge.
Storm hammer loresong:
As you sing, a multitude of images flashes through your mind. *Slowly, the images seem to focus, and you can make out the details. *You see a cluttered workshop atop the snowy peaks of Glatoph. *The images shift closer as you make out a giantman slaving over a hot forge. *** ***As you continue to sing, the images refocuses once more. *You see a giantman laboriously crafting the veil iron maul from the raw materials laid out before him. *As he works, he is chanting some arcane verses that you can't quite make out. As you continue to sing, the images refocuses once more. *The giantman is inscribing runes of power upon the veil iron maul. *Each rune glows brightly then fades into invisibility. *** ***Your song continues to clarify and focus the images from the past. *The giantman blacksmith raises the veil iron maul and chants an arcane phrase. *Flashes of lightning and winds stir all around him. *Just at that moment a giant lightningbolt strikes the veil iron maul and is absorbed into it. *The giantman smiles approvingly and begins to polish the veil iron maul. *The images completely fade from your mind. **
5x, lightning flares. Lightning flares seem standard ,but do seem slightly more powerful than "normal" lightning flares. Just from my experience and from hearing what other people have said.
It has a self mana call wind and shockwave move, which seems to have its own critical table. ( I may be wrong, I think there may be one that's listed in the crit tables off hand but don't remember which one, grapple maybe?)
The shockwave move is very powerful, will knock them down and stun them/as well as do damage/crits. Unfortunately, both require 15-45 random RT. It isn't as bad with haste, but a little more manageable. It also works in a sanct!
It has a couple actions too.
(Without haste)
You raise the veil iron maul high in the air and then smash it down upon the ground. A thunderous din rings in your ears as the maul makes contact with the ground throwing dirt and rock everywhere. A shockwave emanates from the epicenter of the maul and ripples outward.
A cave troll is overcome by the shockwave.
... 25 points of damage!
Stomach strike knocks the cave troll backwards several feet.
A red bear is overcome by the shockwave.
... 30 points of damage!
Control of body lost. The red bear falls to the ground stunned.
It is knocked to the ground!
The red bear is stunned!
The replenishing effect fades, but you are left with a feeling of wellbeing.
You concentrate on projecting the illusion of a violent quake.
A cave troll loses its balance and falls to the ground.
You feel the veil iron maul drawing mana from you.
Roundtime: 19 sec.
You grasp the veil iron maul firmly by the leathern straps and spin it in front of you. The maul spins faster and faster until it becomes a blur of motion.
As you manipulate your maul, a scintillating silver aura engulfs you.
A gust of wind tugs at your sleeves. Suddenly, a fierce wind rips through the area, scattering everything in its path and making it difficult to remain standing.
A cave troll is knocked over by the wind.
The wind then subsides.
You feel the veil iron maul drawing mana from you.
Roundtime: 24 sec.
Note:It seems to knock everyone down, especially with the shockwave, even people much older than you level wise.
Sometimes it will backfire:
You raise the veil iron maul high in the air and then smash it down upon the ground. A thunderous din rings in your ears as the maul makes contact with the ground throwing dirt and rock everywhere. A shockwave emanates from the epicenter of the maul and ripples outward.
You are overcome by the shockwave.
... 30 points of damage!
Leg jerked violently. You are stunned.
You are knocked to the ground!
You are stunned for 6 rounds!
A red bear is overcome by the shockwave.
... 25 points of damage!
Vision blurred. The red bear staggers around blindly.
It is knocked to the ground!
The red bear is stunned!
A cave troll is overcome by the shockwave.
... 35 points of damage!
Elbow wrenched.
The cave troll is stunned!
A red bear is overcome by the shockwave.
... 30 points of damage!
Strike to lower back stuns the red bear.
It is knocked to the ground!
The red bear is stunned!
You concentrate on projecting the illusion of a violent quake.
A cave troll loses its balance and falls to the ground.
You feel the veil iron maul drawing mana from you.
Roundtime: 16 sec.
Weighs 9 lbs.
Actions:
As you rub the veil iron maul, it pulses once with an iridescent aura. Crackles of static electricity sparkle upon the veil iron maul.
Shadowdeath morning star:
You swing a tenebrous black alloy spikestar at a kobold!
AS: +57 vs DS: +53 with AvD: +35 + d100 roll: +83 = +122
... and hit for 12 points of damage!
Minor puncture to the chest.
Ravenous tendrils of shadow burst forth from the black alloy spikestar, draining the very life from the kobold!
75 points of damage!
The kobold crumples to a heap on the ground and dies.
Roundtime: 5 sec.
You swing a tenebrous black alloy spikestar at a rolton!
AS: +56 vs DS: +27 with AvD: +33 + d100 roll: +45 = +107
... and hit for 3 points of damage!
A feeble blow to the rolton's left arm!
Ravenous tendrils of shadow burst forth from the black alloy spikestar, draining the very life from the rolton!
24 points of damage!
The rolton collapses to the ground, emits a final bleat, and dies.
Roundtime: 5 sec.
(Notice how the AS keeps going down 1 point each time it flares? It will do this for awhile. The weapon starts at +25 and ends at around +20.)
The more you WAVE the weapon, the more you feed it and the more blood it has. You can do this anywhere, anytime, even with other players or bards NPCs. And you can do it in sancts. Once its full, (And you can tell by rubbing it) it will be full +25 and flare almost every swing. The damage is random, from 1-75 damage. But the medium is around the middle.
You rub the black alloy spikestar noticing how it appears almost insubstantial, but just as quickly returns to its solid state.
A voice whispers, "Master, I still hunger. Sate my thirst!"
You press your fingers against the black alloy spikestar and watch as it grows almost translucent and smokey. Your fingers dip in, and as you pull them out small tendrils of shadowstuff trail a short distance before snapping away and sinking back into the black alloy spikestar.
You turn the black alloy spikestar over in your hands, watching as shadowstuff pools on the surface and appears to trap the available light, casting a shroud of gray darkness over itself.
Long tendrils of dark shadow writhe along the length of your black alloy spikestar oozing from handle to tip like blood the color of night.
You tilt your black alloy spikestar side to side, but the spikestar seems to be absorbing the light causing a nauseating blurring effect.
Has a nice long loresong as well (or should).
You rub the black alloy spikestar noticing how it appears almost insubstantial, but just as quickly returns to its solid state. A voice whispers, "Master, I thirst for blood..." (+20, shadow flares from time to time)
You rub the black alloy spikestar noticing how it appears almost insubstantial, but just as quickly returns to its solid state. A voice whispers, "Master, I still hunger. Sate my thirst!" (+21-22, shadow flares more often)
You rub the black alloy spikestar noticing how it appears almost insubstantial, but just as quickly returns to its solid state. A voice whispers, "Master, the blood of your enemies runs freely in me." (+23-24, shadow flares more often)
You rub the black alloy spikestar noticing how it appears almost insubstantial, but just as quickly returns to its solid state. A voice whispers, "Master, I am sated, command me." (+25, shadow flares almost every hit)
Long tendrils of dark shadow leap from your black alloy spikestar, streaming towards a hobbit as if they were hungry vipers lunging for their target!
The shadowy tendrils strike out at the hobbit snapping and swarming before suddenly breaking off and returning to your black alloy spikestar!
A voice whispers, "Master, I cannot feed from this one." (Creature/person's level is too low VS. my level)
Long tendrils of dark shadow leap from your black alloy spikestar, streaming towards hobbit as if they were hungry vipers lunging for their target!
The shadowy tendrils strike out at the hobbit snapping, swarming, and whipping about the hobbit while tearing his life away!
A voice whispers to you, "I cannot feed any more, master." (Weapon is full)
Waving the weapon at creatures or people feeds it's thirst.
This form of attack can be done anywhere, even in a sanct, until the weapon is full, draining anywhere from 5 to 25 (That i've seen so far) blood from the victim per hit.
This attack does not seem to work against creatures or people ten levels lower then the weilders current level, however it does work on anything older then you, regardless of level difference.
This attack works only in offensive stance.
It also seems to like a variety, if it drains a person too many times in a row, it seems to want another victim.
This attack does not seem to work on most NPCS, familiars or companions, but does work on bard's animated weapons.
Every time the weapon flares during a normal attack, it makes the blade hunger a bit more, as the blade begins to hunger, its enchant begins to drop progressively from +25 to +20. As this happens, it begins to flare less ofte
