Has anyone else checked this out? My laptop struggles playing mediocre games like solitaire yet I can play new FPS games like Borderland and Homefront no problem with this. I can see this type of gaming service really taking off.
www.onlive.com
Free signup and free demos to play so you can get a feel for it.
They also have a box coming out that lets you stream straight to your TV, no computer needed.

If you buy the new Deus Ex you get a free demo coupon unless you buy it from GameStop as they are opening the boxes and removing the coupon.
As far as OnLive I've heard things like Assassin's Creed, Deus Ex, Arkham Asylum work well because they don't require super fast ping, but things like racing games are not as good.

Yeah, I posted that about Gamestop yesterday I think, they're now recalling all the games they have sold and returning them to SquareEnix.

SquareEnix shouldn't accept the return. Make Gamestop eat it and buy all new copies to stock their shelves.

I do understand saying "Our bad for packaging something into our product that goes against the selling practices of one of our vendors without letting them know" you want to make sure you're dealing with your vendors on the up and up. But holy shit saying alter our product as you see fit to keep it shelvled, no, just no.

Exactly. Game Stop has no right to open those products and sell them as brand new. No, fucking, way.

Nothing new there. Gamestop employees are allowed to take home new copies of games and play them.
