Race: Elf

CON 20
DEX 80
AGL 82
DIS 67
AUR 67
LOG 88
INT 56
WIS 93

How would you do an armor-less paladin differently? Would you get lores instead of the AS/MIU? Is this at all feasible, or is he going to get murmaidered left and right as he tries to hunt his way up? Which society makes the most sense?

Reroll.
I'll mark that down as "not viable".

Just to clarify, I'm not proposing I'm actually going to roll this guy, I'm just curious if anyone thinks it'd be possible to keep him alive for more than 20 minutes at a time, and how they would change it if that was their goal.

I can't see why you'd even attempt doing this without maxing Dodge.

Dodge is expensive! I'm not made out of TPs!
EDIT: is 1x extra dodge worth not using any scrolls or magic items?

I mean, I hope you're at least planning on wearing enchanted robes. You could go for a while. it will be annoying because you will, on occasion, get fucking shitstomped, but if you're patient and selective in your hunting I see no reason why you can't get to at least the mid-levels. Just not very quickly I expect.
I just don't know WHY you would do this. Spend 5m silver, get a full plate armor concealer. Mission accomplished.

Armor is life man. You won't survive hunts, you'll get bored, and you'll quit this character.

I want to see you do this for the same reason I want to see a Burghal gnome twc sorceror: it's funny because it isn't happening to me.

meh, if you spell tank and hunt things that don't swarm you won't get touched very often, can easily get to 50ish.
i would suggest avoiding bandit bounties like the plague.

I was hoping that dropping armor would really open up the training plan but... it's still pretty tight.
2x polearm
1x CM
1x PT
2x Dodge
1x HP
1x Spells
Are all I can really afford. Both insane and also remarkably vanilla.

You should atleast get a few ranks to wear some sort of leather. They have gambesons that are armor out there. A gambeson is basically clothing with some leather in it, so as to not look like you are wearing armor. I think most gambesons that are armor(as some are not armor and are just made to be layered under armor) are soft leather. I could be incorrect.
Paladins are always pretty tight on skills early on.

I haven't rolled one but, near as I can tell, Paladins more or less have to be vanilla due to their TP costs.

Obviously Paladin doesn't seem to work with this plan. I know Rogues can get away with it. What about Warriors?

No armor?
See my previous answer.
That seems to be the conclusion. Short of having a spell-bot and/or maybe trying some other crazy hiding scheme, it's not gonna work out, long term.

You'd need to hunt some very slow genning exceptionally slow critter, seems a painful sort of idea really

You should model your paladin after Thaluhar. I dunno if you've heard of him but that guy's kind of a big deal

I try to stick with rats and if I feel up to a real challenge, I might go to ants... a 700+ attack skill before spirit strike is so limiting.

With or without armor, Paladins are very vanilla and rather hosed because of the TP costs of skills.
The only time I'd suggest going without armor is if you have access to every spell in the game. It's possible to hunt without armor, I have done it before just for fun, but you really do need an outstanding DS. I don't see that happening without a sword/board build, at the very least.
Bandits would be out of the question, yeah. You'd probably be forced to underhunt non-bolting creatures if you couldn't spell tank.
Of all the skills to drop, armor is not it. The training is actually pretty cheap and the spell failures aren't even annoying until plate, which is going to be your 50s anyway. It's no big deal in hauberk.
I'd re-think this plan, honestly.

First things first, Tumbadoo. Is your guy voln fuing his way, or can you really 1615 and brawling weapon your way past all those plate wearers? I can see the build working in OTF where elemental flares do so well, but the heavy padding/resistance in nelemar makes me mostly ignore casting 1615 for anything but the knockdown.
Secondly, on a no armor paladin build. It makes no sense. A low armor build (chain or if you are totally nuts brig) to cut down on armor hindrance and pick up extra spells is one thing. But the cost to 1x armor is so low, you would never get a better value for those points elsewhere. Mutant magical hiding rogues can do robes and do well and of course you can cast your way to the cap as either a ranger or bard. 1615 is a great spell, but it is not so great as to give up armor.
