I finally settled in on a weapon, so I no longer need these any more:

1. The Chaos Maul

Randomly changes how much it adds or subtracts to AS every swing. Ranges anywhere from -50AS to +50AS with average AS of +20.

With each swing the maul changes colors and has a randomized effect. The following effects occur at random on each swing:

Black = Critical Weighting
Grey = Damage Weighting
White = Cold Flares
Red = Fire Flares
Green = Acid Flares
Blue = Lightning Flares
Brown = Impact Flares

Actually to clear the air in regards to the legendary blade called Sorrow. When Khariz sold the weapon to me some 2+ years back, it sold it for 125m. Since then I've been prompted by multiple parties if I would sell it and have repeatedly turning down these people. I've never publicly advertised the weapon for sale except for some behind the scenes talk when prompted and I even turned down an 185m offer.

In regards to where the whole 250m price tag came from one day I was asked what price would tempt me to sell it, and I said 250m. The weapon is still in use since creating a wizard for it and I have no desire to sell it unless the offer knocks my socks off which 250m would.

These days silvers grow on trees and in the grand scheme of things for a weapon of this caliber someone with more silvers then they know what to do with and wanting a new toy will take the plunge. And if not, no worries as I have no problem keeping the weapon forever.

OK, so my curiosity is peeked. What is so special about 'Sorrow'?

Here's my authored information:


Look: a massive vaalorn sword

Show: The sword is forged out of the darkest metal you have ever seen. Thin tendrils of blinding violet light dance their way from the haft and along its length. For a brief moment you think you hear a slight moaning coming from the sword itself


I compiled most of the useful information on Sorrow here in this Krakiipedia post: http://www.krakiipedia.org/wiki/Sorrow

But just to be short about it, you can cast the following spells by POINTing the sword at your target:

1. Focused Implosion
2. Darkness
3. Mana Drain
4. Mana Disrupt
5. Call Lightning

It can also cause bad things to happen to you until it fully bonds to your will, which reportedly takes six months for full completion. These bad things include making you berserk, causing tremors, enraging you into offensive stance, taking health and spirit, hitting you with plasma, and stunning you. Oh, and you charge the spells by killing things with the blade, so essentially you have unlimited charges of the spells as long as you hunt with it.

An aura of great magic surround the sword, its vibrations

lashing back at the sound of your voice. The sword begins

to vibrate in your hands, nearly uncontrollably. You realize

with a start that this weapon has a life of its own.

"Sword before I toss you with the waste

Is there a purpose to your taste?"

As you sing, you sense resonant vibrations coming from the

sword, matching pitch with yours. Soon a harmony is

achieved, and a brilliant display begins to materialize before

you...

Dark skies loom overhead and thunder-bursts roll though a

blackened valley. Two lone figures stand locked in mortal

battle with monstrous blades. War songs fill the air, brilliant

flashes of lightning obscuring your view. When they have

cleared, the battle is at an end, one of the fighters impaled

upon his own sword. Suddenly a horrible shrieking deafens

you, as the fallen figure is seems to be consumed by his

blade...

You sing:

"Sword with a value untold

What price gets you sold"

Your breath becomes labored as you try to coax yet more

out of the sword...

Images race past with unbelievable speed! Foes falling in

battle... Friends turning against each other... Thousands of

faint voices, echoing through the sky... Hundreds of years

passing in mere seconds... All the while a horrid screaming

fills your ears. As you attempt to delve deeper into the

sword's history it suddenly lashes out at you!

You are stunned!

You sing:

"Sword that I find myself singing to

What purpose do you faithfully do"

The sword suddenly bathes you in a warm red light, pulsing

with your breaths in a hypnotic rhythm.

You learn nothing new about the sword.


Ok besides being x6 enchanted. This is everything I've learned about the blade. Its a "he" as well. From what I see from the bard song. Will it ever attune to Celtar? No idea. Fun roleplaying item but damn deadly to the weilder. A few typos I note in its abilites as well. New note: The sword starts at +18 the min training to hold it is 9th. The AS goes up on the sword as you train. I do not know the max bonus at this time. Though Celtar at 18th was getting a bonus of 36.

Further note: I think this is the message that starts when it starts attuning to you. (pure speculation on my part though)

The sword suddenly bathes you in a warm red light, pulsing with your breaths in a hypnotic rhythm.


p.s: baring the Thingol Diamond, Ive never seen such a heavly scripted item. Actually its much more scripted then the Diamond. And til I learn if it attunes or not, I wont be using anymore spirit draining powers if you follow. Three decays via spirit death were enough to teach me.<Grin>

(1. Violent light, Focused implosion)

You point your sword at a cold guardian. Suddenly a dim

violet light lashes out at a cold guardian!

A void rips open in the area, but not very close to a cold

guardian.

Air sucked from a cold guardian's lungs.

+10 Hits.

The cold guardian screams evilly one last time and goes still.

The cold guardian dies an abrupt death.

A number of items ranging from 8 to 19 feet from the void

were picked up and sucked toward the blackness. The items

did an accumulative damage of 70 as they caromed off a

cold guardian. The void disappears without further incident.

You point your sword at a rolton. Suddenly a dim orange

light lashes out at a rolton!

CS: +84 - TD: +3 + CvA: +25 + d100: +35 == +141

Warding failed!

A dull grey beam momentarily materializes between you and

the rolton!

The rolton shakes violently!

You point your sword at a rabid squirrel. Suddenly a strong

blue light lashes out at a rabid squirrel!

CS: +82 - TD: +6 + CvA: +25 + d100: +63 == +164

Warding failed!

A powerful hit.

The rabid squirrel twitches its tail one last time and dies.

(5. Red light, Call Lightning)

You point your sword at a cold guardian. Suddenly a strong

red light lashes out at a cold guardian!

You notice a small cloud form above a cold guardian.

You notice the storm cloud begin to churn rapidly!

The storm cloud begins to build into a thunderhead!

You hear the rumbling of thunder as the cloud turns an

ominous dark hue!

Suddenly a lightning bolt explodes from the small

thundercloud and strikes a cold guardian with a brilliant flash!

The guardian is knocked to the ground!

... 45 points of damage!

The cold guardian is stunned!

(1. Berserking.)

The sword suddenly turns on you, lashing out!

The sword starts to pulse with a dark rhythm, drawing you

closer. You begin to feel your soul weakening as you start

to submit to the bidding of the sword. Rage builds within you

driving you bezerk!

Like warrior berserk. Also adds 9to AS during berserk as if I

had ranks of berserk at I think its 30 ranks. Minus to AS after

the berserking rage leaves that wears off like warrior

berserking. All the berserking verbs work as well.

(2. White light that stuns you for varying amounts of time.)

The sword suddenly turns on you, lashing out!

The sword suddenly shimmers with restrained energy, then

emits a blinding white light which fills the room.

You are stunned for 10 rounds...

(( 2 to 10 rounds appears to be the stun times))

(3. Tremors )

The sword suddenly turns on you, lashing out!

The sword begins to tremor, violently shaking the whole room!

A cold guardian loses its balance and falls over.

(4. Weakness)

The sword suddenly turns on you, lashing out!

The sword begins to glow with a deep crimson. Thin tendrils

of light reach out and grip you, passing through your body.

After a moments you feel the strength rush out of your soul

in a wave of searing heat. The sword shines brightly leaving

you pitifully weakened.

You feel weak!

Minus 50 to AS. (stackable..if it does it again while the

current weakness is still in effect)

(5. Frenzy )

The sword suddenly turns on you, lashing out!

The sword begins to wail an eerie song. As the sound fills

your mind it builds in pitch and volume, till it is almost

maddening!

You suddenly feel angered beyond all reason, causing you to

scream out in rage!

( Can't change stance to any stance but offensive)

(6. Plasma blast )

The sword suddenly turns on you, lashing out!

A blast of pure plasma floods from the sword directly at you!

CS: +82 - TD: +70 + CvA: +4 + d100: +83 - -5 == +104

Warding failed!

You feel a surge of intense energy suddenly tear violently at

your body! You feel drained!

... and hits for 10 points of damage!

Minor burns to chest. That hurts a bit.

You wince as the blast numbs your right arm.

Heavy jolt to chest causes solar plexus to explode.

Remarkable display of spraying blood.

light of sickly green. To your horror you feel your life force

ripped from your body as the sword shrieks horribly!

You feel drained! Spirit drain, up to seven spirit, it varies.
