Did Swami sells his guy, or just close up shop?

Motivation to cap! ...but I'm quite a ways off.

You can get a lot more from summoning as a ranger. Out of all the rangers I know, not a single one comes to mind who trains in blessing. I used to, and I dropped it to pick up more CM.

other than oodles of coins. Regyy made at least 9 figures doing it.

blessing isn't that bad either, ranger wise. i mean summoning is strictly better i think from a hunting point of view, but blessing has a lot of "hey that's kinda nice, actually"

but it doesn't make your weeds into remorseless engines of death, so meh.

What would 55% resists on up to HCP armor sell for? I know not a capped 70%, but was just wondering.

most people want top of the line

Some people can't afford top of the line.
Maybe try taking the difference in percentage from capped 70% and what you can apply for someone, equalling X.
Reduce the cost of capped resistance (1mil I think were normal price) by X and charge whatever sum that comes up with.
All I could think of.

People may want top of the line, but from previous posts it doesn't seem there is someone out there offering it, hence the question. So thanks for your input on that matter.

So you're saying normal resistance at 70% would be/was 1 mil per?

So I guess.. 70% @ 1mil = 14.3k per % roughly

so 14.3kx55 = I guess 785,000

So right at 750k per?

If there is a need for something as such I may fit in the lores/SMC to accomodate (could probably push it to 60% with some enhancives), but if people only want 70% then guess no reason to.

Thanks for the info.

Hmm maybe not. For that price it costs only little more for the capped resistance. Maybe you'd be good at around 400k or something. You might even have to be cheaper than that if you want to aim for people who can't afford a mil.

It's 4am so my suggestion wasn't very well planned out. Apologies.

Oh and crb your sig is annoying as fuck.

Again the question is.. is there anyone even available to do max resistances? Or even 55% for that matter? Guess I'll just stay at my current 20%. Thanks for the information.

I can do 57% currently, for what it's worth. Figured nobody was looking for anything short of cap, though.

Nice. You may want to post services if so, seeing as I have no idea if anyone is doing 70% ones these days.

regyy would charge 500k

The thing is, unless you hunt fire mages, the resistance will last years, and it is annoying to remove. So I think most people don't want to settle, but would rather wait around for something more.

Tolwynn how high could you do if you had +40 in blessing enhancives?

I had 101 blessing lore for a long time, and I think I sold a total of two or three resistances.

It just was not worth it, so I went back to summoning.

you gotta self promote. A lot of players just don't know how cool it is.

CRB,
If Tolwynn is sitting at 57% right now, adding another 40 ranks/bonus should give him another 20% to total 77%. This is going off everything I read up on adding resistances last evening. Someone correct me if my math is off, but that may be a viable service for those looking to have a set made for those times.

The big part was also the SMC, getting that to 55 ranks to be able to do HCP armor as well.
