I decided that I don't really have a use for this one, so:

1x, masterfully crit-weighted (20-24 points) morning star. Max lightened to 4lbs.

A razern-tipped massive steel spikestar with a crude bristlecone haft

30m flat. SOLD.

(Cash accepted at $8/m).

PP enchanting costs:

2x = 2840
3x = 3140
4x = 3440
5x = 3920

i should splurge and buy this, the 0x MCW one that was also just for sale and PP enchant that up, fixskill to blunt.

It's not going to happen, but i should.

What does it cost pp wise to add an enchant to an mcw weapon?

BriarFox

For this one, here are the PP enchant costs (estimated):

2x = 2840
3x = 3260
4x = 3440
5x = 3920

Buckwheet's still taking offers on that in his thread, I'm pretty sure. It'd be a hell of a TWC build.

It would be fucking ludicrous, and I truly hope someone does it. I almost have enough prem points to bring the 0x to 1x and this to 2x, making it even more tempting :)

Which would be better? Taking my 1x Fishspine to 5x or this Morning Star to 5x?

Donquix
08-19-2011, 02:40 AM
well the fishspine is less weighting (exceptional is 15-19) and a shittier weapon base (broadsword)...

I do still have mine for sale. It is currently in the PP queue getting enchanted one time. However that is easy enough to cancel.

It would be a very stick TWC build, even more so if you can bond to one of them.

35m just seems like a lot though especially when the market is so slow. i would love to pair it up with the 9x perfect I am waiting on delivery for however

That sounds like the best Combo. High enchant perfect to land the blow and stun, follow up with this freakish death dealer to crit out whatever it hits.

I've gotten a number of questions on this star. Sorry, but I won't lower the MB below 35; that's the absolute minimum I'd take for it. Yes, it can be further enchanted; I posted the PP costs on the first page of the thread. Yes, of course cash is fine ($8 per million). The star is max-lightened to 4lbs.

Anything else, just let me know.

Not sure what you did there, but I think it would actually be:

2x = 2840
3x = 3140
4x = 3440
5x = 3740

Hm. We're different on the 3x and 5x. Checking again, I messed up the 3x one, you're right, but the 5x one looks good:

Base cost for enchants with starting enchants of +16 to +45 is (1200 + (400 * (current plus - 11) / 5))

= 1200 + (400 * (20-11)/5)
= 1920
+ 2000 for the weighting
= 3920

I think it's max lightened to 4 pounds.

Hah. And that's right. So much for memory.

Oh yeah I forgot that stupid formula. I haven't done anything with weighting to 5x+ yet, but I know that pcalc seems to always be wrong now, at least when weighting is involved.

I just thought those numbers looked strange since my recent -1x to 4x set of enchants incrementally increased in price by 300.

Overpriced by about 10m but definitely a kickass weapon.

Twc warriors with enough ranks in twc should be able to bond to both weapons.

They really should. But instead of actually fixing that, we got splitting weapons at draughtmans.

instead of making it work how it should for everyone, let's bandaid it with auction/limited release weapons so only like 5 people can have it work correctly! Because that works so well for thrown weapons!

Apparently, off the shelf versions of the Droughtman splitters should be available at EG. They will, however, only have half the enchant of the weapon once split. Or rather, one will have the full enchant, and the other half. I believe Emeradan also stated that he would be releasing a bunch more "unlocked" versions, meaning full bonuses when split, at EG as well. This was before/during Droughtman's Challenge, however, so shit may very well have changed.

What would be motherfuckingly awesome is if this service could be put on a weapon of your choosing.

Try being a Paladin and seeing the Blink weapons released.

Blinks work with some pali spells, I know not all, I can see if the 1 pali in shattered with a blink can do testing and let me know which.

No, no...

I mean.. Paladin infusing should work like Blink weapons do. But, since everyone hates Paladins, the spell blows.

Ahh, I gotcha, I just wish I could put bard spells into them....

But apparently none of the current GMs have any idea how to code bard songs so it will more than likely never happen. However, it also means that they can't nerf 1030. So, I guess that is an acceptable tradeoff.

While that is a neat option, it's still shite.

If i want to use bonding how i should be able to as a TWC warrior, I have to use 4x plain weapons? And I believe he said the off the shelf variety when it split everything is split evenly (i assume the primary hand would get the leftover point on odd enchants) between the two. I'm sure the off the shelf weapons are going to be 4x unsplit, so 2x plain (maybe fire/ice/earth/acid flaring if you're lucky) split :\ So if you take the time to get it up to 7x you're left a pair of plain vaalorn weapons to bond with. yippy :\

but yeah...if you could add "splitting" as a script to an existing weapon that would be fucking insane. hell you know what i'd even take? An auto service where if you put two identical weapons in, they become a splitting weapon. Then at least I could take two 7x perfects and get a 7x perfect splitter to bond to.
