The shield is masterfully crafted from the purest white golvern in the shape of an angel's wing. It has been worked and etched to make the feathers and musculature strikingly realistic. The feathers on the leading edge are so small that the surface seems almost smooth. This accentuates the well defined, powerful looking, muscles there. Scanning back you see the feathers becoming larger and more pronounced until they extended beautifully, in fan like layers, to create the wings trailing edge. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.
