Deepening questions

I was comparing the capacities of two harnesses today in case I run into a merchant that is lightening/deepening and I am a bit confused. When the merchant deepens an item, does both the amount it can hold AND the number of items it can hold get increased together? Or are these two traits separate? Could anyone point me to a list of the traits relating to the number of items please (several items, a number of items, etc.)? I am not really sure which is considered larger between "several items" and "a number of items." Thanks

I believe the number of items does not change, only the capacity.

I could be wrong on that.

They won't change the number of items (currently) but I wish it was a service they would start offering.
