I set a password for lnet and never used it. Then my laptop got stolen and I got a new one, now when I log into lich I can't get on lnet without entering a password. I did not set a recovery E-mail address, so now I cannot get back on lich. I can prove that it is my account. Overall, the lnet password system doesn't make much sense to me and to tell the truth I had set the password by accident, thinking that it meant something else. Please help me recover my password, thanks.

An lnet password just prevents other people from logging into lnet using your character name. For the most part, it's optional. It will keep some jerk from logging in as you and telling all your friends to go to hell, cybering with random people, or getting you banned from some channel. However, an lnet password is required if you want to create or moderate a channel, or join a private channel.
If you save an e-mail address with lnet, you can send an e-mail from that address to lichnet@lichproject.org with the subject "reset <game code>:<char name>" and the server should generate a new random password and e-mail it to you within a couple minutes.
Please help me recover my password, thanks.
What's the character name?

Attempting the email method above, hoping I had a recovery email associated with the account.
