Staff really needs to figure out a way to make shields more appealing across the board. I think this price is beyond reasonable and into cheap for the enchant but the desirability of shields is just shit right now.

Like remove all maneuver penalties associated with them. carrying a shield now means you are not TWC, pole or THW, so your killing power is lower. with padded armor everyone is like a good woman...we can take a punch. DS is lower? so what. i can take it and heal. meanwhile I can kill faster.
