So true. I did a (semi) controlled experiment to test this back in the aol days.

A friend and I both made empaths, both healed exclusively around the same times of day. We acted nearly identical (fairly reserved, friendly but fairly plain) the only difference was i giggled and he chuckled, and i was a hot ass human chick dressed like a sexy librarian, he was a dwarf dude. We did this for a month or so.

At the end of the, he had amassed about 200k from tips. I had over a million.

It was just like a constant stream of "oh you giggled when i said that thing, god you're so awesome. here's this cool pendant thing i bought from a merchant"

Seriously though, I hate implosion. No spell should bypass most of what we can do to defend ourselves. Every critter that casts it that I've ever run into does it at such a high level of effectiveness that it's pretty much a death sentance 95% of the time.
