Anyone tried it?

It's hard, but doable. High-end enhancives are still more difficult. Fusion arms, probably slightly easier.

I think someone posted something on the officials about trying it shortly after Naos's changes to 925 were released. Maybe it was Tsoran. At the very least it was talked about.

I would imagine a maxed out wizard wouldn't have too much trouble hitting 4x. It is pushing beyond 4x on any item with difficulty modifiers that things get scary.

Started at +17, and failed on the second pour. Not sure how far down the enchant went, but wait time was 1-2 days when I began again. Just failed the 2nd cast of the new cycle trying again.

Capped wizard trained for enchanting.

That is a very good sign to stop trying before one of the failures goes critical.

I seem to remember a Naos post that said it was possible, but not a great idea to try, even for a maxed out enchanter.

That was probably Naos's asshole speak for you need to hit critical endrolls for enchanting it 5 times in a row.
