Hey there, gang.
I know it can be a pain when you come to a merchant and they take a long time. In two hours, I only was able to accommodate maybe a dozen people. This isn't always the case, and I don't want you to get discouraged by this kind of merchanting.
When I run Alouetta, 90% of the time, sometimes - like today - 100% of the time, everyone wants me to write the alteration. Each instrument that is handed to me is designed in the medieval style and that means that I have a web page opened at all times so that I can google the make and type of each instrument. This is so that I don't give a harp pegs, when they should have buzzing pray pins, or a mandolin a slim body when it should have a bowl or archtop.
I also write all of my designs in a word program and do my best to keep my attention split between the game, the web, and my word document. There are days I wish I had two screens.
I love playing Alouetta and I love working on instruments. I will make an effort to bring her around more often, but I wanted to make sure that you understood what went into the process of creating an instrument and why it sometimes seems like I'm not moving very fast at all.
~*~ Thandiwe ~*~
Listen, strange women lyin' in ponds distributin' swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.
When the PC pulled together to buy Lamar (jerk) Burton and Felicia Day tweets, I think something like $2000 was raised?
Anyone up for doing this for Thandiwe? A second monitor would be $150 or less, if she needs an upgrade to her video card, that's another $150 max.
